I'm also halfway through veteran mode and i agree its very hard! but fun nevertheless. Although a few times i nearly threw my controller at the screen!

Zhao Yun, please go and try multiplayer on xbox live, i cannot stress the point, that if you haven't played COD4 on xboxlive in a good lagless server you have only played half of the game.

I really feel that single player, being very brillant, is only half of the game. Go for it! you won't regret it!
The multiplayer in this game has made my investment in my xbox machine worth it

Wei guys, I need help. Almost there. I'm at the stupid last mission the plane 1 which must rescue the VIP in 1 minit in Veteran mode.

I need guide how to pass that level. I played for nearly 2 hours straight still can't pass. Either I die ( most of the time ) or not enough time ( most of the time also ). Even I reach till the end, sure some F***** sneak up and kill you 1.

This mission is seriously getting to my nerve and I almost throw my control to my monitor.

The flashbang won't always work. Reloading also wasting time. If the game had start me with shortgun or LMG then it will be easier to just blindly shoot through everything.

u need help throwing the controller ?

Nvm guys. i found a guide on the net. Wholly crap, I did not take 1 single hit the whole round of that plane. The guide make it look so easy. I tried less then 5 time and I pass finally by just following the guide.

I just pass the lvl. Yay, I finish veteran mode.
