i do not aware of any ryzen 5 pro problems, did you have reviewed one?

If you dive deep about how Ryzen mobile APU works then you'll know what I'm talking about

Dual channel memory, bad firmware/BIOS, cooling solution, worse battery life (fan related)

i suggest you get the latest a485 with the ryzen 5 pro. the model is using the same model like the t480 but the amd comes with better cpu.

also if you fancy the magnesium cover you can get it by upgrading the camera to enable that option. all in still below 4k.

finally if you do not plan to upgrade the ram take dual channel options 4gb+4gb
*
A485 is not available yet on Lenovo website, where else can order it?

Preferred max weight, display size and minimum battery life?

Thinkpad E series is no different than regular consumer laptop
*
14', max 1.8kg, 4-5hr battery life is fine

i beg to differ, the E series might be the entry level thinkpad, but they are not as plastic-ish like say Ideapad etc...at least that's how i felt when comparing physically, the keyboard is better as well

this is what sales rep told me that if you plan to buy it to avoid sst do not use credit card because lenovo only charge after the product arrive. So your final price will include sst.

Hi guys,

First post here despite lurking for many years. Does anyone know when exactly the rest of the new HP Envy 13 range will be available?
So far only 2 models - 8th Gen i5 and i7 with the MX150 GPU are available and both are in Silver bangwall.gif But I saw the Pale Gold models
on display in Singapore and it is absolutely beautiful. Just got tired of talking to HP Malaysia as they either tell you it's launching end
AUG / early SEP or we have no idea the next moment.

Cheers,
VaN

1. Preferred brand : Any
2. Budget : RM2K
3. Usage : Word and office usage
4. Screen Size : 14 inch

Looking for a slim and sturdy laptop. Since two laptops before, got broken screen while in bag.

Thanks!

Aesthetic reasons, bro - I know I'm being lame but I like the new design cues better. Less sharp edges and it looks much
more refined. Tried out the display unit in S'pore - fit and build quality is better and the full HD screen is slightly brighter
compared to the current AD series. The Spectre x360 is also another option I'm looking at - need to get a work notebook
soon to replace my old Vostro 14 ..

Cheers,
VaN

Acer Swift 1 14: IPS panel, soldered RAM
Acer Aspire 3 (Ryzen 2200U): 768p TN panel, can upgrade RAM+SSD, looks a bit cheap

Yes - also looking at XPS 13 9360 / XPS 15 9560 since we mainly use Dell units here in the office.

Cheers,
VaN.
