i suggest you get the latest a485 with the ryzen 5 pro. the model is using the same model like the t480 but the amd comes with better cpu.

also if you fancy the magnesium cover you can get it by upgrading the camera to enable that option. all in still below 4k.

finally if you do not plan to upgrade the ram take dual channel options 4gb+4gb

yes it is available. but of course need to wait 2weeks for the order.

the battery life at default it around 10hours at 48wh and you can upgrade it if you want because it use two batteries.

i do not aware of any ryzen 5 pro problems, did you have reviewed one?

this is what sales rep told me that if you plan to buy it to avoid sst do not use credit card because lenovo only charge after the product arrive. So your final price will include sst.

In before my brother bought one with no extra charge just pay the stated amount with credit card . I do not know the rate after sst.
