Looking at getting a VX3276-2k. Are all the larger Shoppee sellers authorized resellers? Any way to check online? Primary concern is warranty of course.

edit: I asked the shop and shouldn't be a problem.

Your case right, better refer to the service center.

The call number is on 1st page, pick up service available.
*
The service center say this is the feedback from vendor:

"Backlight bleeding cannot be fixed, it’s IPS panel feature. Yes, it may different for each monitor.
According to the photo, the backlight bleeding condition is ok (in spec.), no problem."

Can you confirm this? That back light bleeding is part of the vx3276-2k's product / feature?

Thank you.

Hello,

I wouldn't say it's part of the feature but it's common on IPS panel screens.

Don't just take our word for it, look at what our competitor brands have to say..........

Hi Viewsonic,

Is it normal for the VX3276-2k-mhd display to be darker on left and right side of the screen? Like the brightness is not uniform throughout the screen. Its bothering me a lot when using the monitor.

Are there any plans to release more models with 75-120Hz refresh? Sometimes 60 feels like not enough but not consistently hitting 144Hz as well

Not sure about your other models, but your VX3276-2K-mhd has some workmanship flaw.

The top left and right metal ( or alloy?) borders are jutting out like some rushed installation with no proper QC. You can evidently see that the screws at the bottom half is not secured properly which caused the whole alignment to be out.

Thought i got a lemon unit but after exchanging another new one with the dealer (whom is very kind), i got the exact same issue again. Other than the aesthetics issue, the monitor works fine...for now.

You guys at Viewsonic really have to buck up on that area.

Edit: just noticed couple pages back that someone else also having the same issue. Backlight bleed happened to mine as well but not as severe, it could be due to the imperfect border installation which applied unnecessary force to the sides creating the backlight bleeds.
This further confirms the issue with your QC or manufacturing fault. It's not a very pleasant thing to get when u splurged 1.2k on a brand new device as you expected it to be all shiny and perfect out of the box *twice*.

Viewsonic VX3209-2k monitor is crap. I connect the monitor to my PC (display port) and PS4 (HDMI). I switch between this 2 input often.

The problem is when I switch from HDMI(PS4) input back to display port (PC) input, the brightness and the contrast will change. Contrast will be so high that I cant even see Microsoft Excel's cell border.

And I cant change the contrast settings back. I have to restart my PC to get it fully restore to previous contrast. Sometimes restarting wont help also.

Yes i cant. The contrast is totally out. I cant even see the grey lines in between the cells in Mircrosoft Excel.
Have to restart my PC, sometimes even restarting my PC the contrast would not restore.
