XxlicolexX, u girl or boy?
If u girl, I will personally go to your house & install astrogo for u FOC or call Sharp service center to ask for assistance

SemenyihChen, why u need redundant Android Box? 6800x is already Android TV. You should have asked for Sharp CCTV or Logitech keyboard + mouse because your fingers gonna get real tired typing out searches

I couldn't download latest system update 11000_20180515
It stops somewhere between 13% & 20%
Anyone in here has same issue?

Guys, don't get too excited with Android TV as it has many bugs, e.g. direct Chrome cast & Mira cast failures

My netflix can get 2160p

Android TV or any hardware can play 4k & above speed as long as u subscribe to higher broadband speed
Sharp tech guy recommended ethernet for uninterrupted transmission
4k screen has already matured so I don't see any problem
Heck even my Sony Xperia XZP is 4k crystal clear
happyhaka, you're in luck as TM is rolling out higher & cheaper broadband speed rclxms.gif
Everything has to do with our broadband services NOW
I guess our timing to buy 6800x is really good

Gosh, with that many sideloaded apps your system gonna crash unless u clear caches consistently
Sacrificing Youtube for Astro go? That's a bad idea as there are more new movies in free Youtube than Netflix or Astro go
However, my best movie apps come from China
Only problem is slow internet speed today
HDR is enabled automatically so no worry there. Next year Super HDR or SHDR...

Just crashed my USB movie again

Yes I should think so but every China app is different
Sharp tech guy told me many customers complained about system abnormalities due to 3rd party or sideloaded apps so they ended up sending tech guy to do reset

I think he meant tv usb playback... which i dunno.
About sideloads, i agree... do not sideload all kinds of stuff, may brick the tv.

Many apps contain malware, ads, intrusive elements.

Better keep to proven, popular ones like astrogo, unifi playtv, cloudtv.

U work for Astro? I'm sensing damage control la
Why would anyone sacrifice free Youtube for Astro go, seriously?
Astro should fear Android TV system for exclusion
With deregulation, Astro is losing market share
The problem with Astro was that it had monopoly so customers must buy their worthless programs

nyunyu, 2+5 yrs warranty isn't a promotion because every shop sells it
Malaysia economy still slow la under Mahathir Mohamad
The actual promotion has to do with % discount + free gifts

Sharp tech guy referred to our Android system
I do support sideloading apps but need more info before I proceed
Resetting is a major pain

I dun understand... what u mean by i work for astro??

What scarifice youtube?

Please explain.
I am not astro subscriber but i use a subscriber's id n pw - every subscriber can have n share 4 devices for the free app.

You find that a problem?
You have a phobia for android apps on the tv?

Why? U never used an android device before?

It ain't my biz but u have been promoting that company
Now that it's cleared up this subject matter is now closed

How many times have u resetted your 630x with all sideloaded apps?

u need id/pw from a subscriber registered with astro - can be you or neighbor or anyone.
read:
https://astrogo.astro.com.my/help-faq
this app is not fully compatible with androidtv.
so, yes, u need a mouse AND the remote to navigate properly.

...

sidenote:

HBO Go app is now available, with Astro.
however, the official app v1.0.86 is incompatible with AndroidTV.
i.e., won't work with this TV or other devices running on androidtv OS.
but give it time, someone will come up with a modified version as usual, i would think.
