I've stayed at locations with shared bathrooms before, didn't mind it but gonna have some ladies with me this time around. How safe is it for them?

Guys, need some advice. Can we use our Malaysian Credit Card to purchase Disneyland Tokyo tickets through the official Disney Tokyo website ? No matter what credit card i use, it seems to say "credit card no authorize".

How strict are hotels with # of guest bookings? I have made bookings through OTA for 1 adult but for a sizable room as I'll be travelling with my wife i.e. (Twin Room or Double Room).

Hotels booked:
1. Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku
2. JR Kyushu Blossom Shinjuku

I read that Japan charges based on # of guest instead of hotel room. Though I'm not trying to squeeze 2 person into a single-bed room, will this be an issue? Any experiences to share?

Occupancy - 1 Adult
Room Type - Twin Bed

Yes, so it is a little strange in the sense that you book for 1 Adult, but get a room with 2 beds. If you price the same twin-room for 2 Adults then the price goes up, hence I booked it as 1 Adult.

Im going to tokyo city next month. And since this is first time I experience winter, seeking your advice on this;

1) Which one better? Wearing a multiple sheet of cloth + winter jacket is better OR should I go for thermal wear + a shirt + winter cloth. ( for going out)

2) Method of transportation from haneda airport to my airbnb (Kamata station) which better?
*Use taxi all the way (which cost around 2000-5000 yen)
**airport limousine bus>kamata station
*** or use all train (keikyu>kamata station)
Because my flight arrive on 1030pm, +/- after clearance, should be around 11-1130pm japan time.
Do some research and found that the train close late on weekends

Would love to get recommendations on the railpass. Since i'll be in tokyo most of the time, i cant seems to find the railpass dedicated to tokyo only. Those that i found are intercities or doesnt cover tokyo. Been looking at klook already btw

Hi, I'm planning to utilize my Airasia BigPay card on my trip to Tokyo next week.

So if i top up the card by using credit card, basically I need to received for the MSOS code sms  to my phone.

Now i wonder, I already bought Hello1010 sim card and plan to roaming off my Celcom. Am i still able to received sms if I not turning on the roaming? my phone is dual sim btw.

Anyone know?

last time did not go usj, this time my sis want to go.
for usj is it more fun and excited to go on saturday or sunday? if so do you think we need express card( month june)...usj always crowded? thx

If your idea of fun and excitement is to stand in the queue for hours for popular attractions then sure, weekends are better than weekdays.

Hi guys, i'm traveling to Japan with my family on April and hope to get some insight/suggestion from you guys

1. Can i still witness cherry blossom during mid April? My research seems indicate that the bloom usually occur during end of march to early april

2. Is it recommended to tackle Tokyo+Osaka+Nara+Kyoto in 10 days?

My plan is as follow, not sure if it would be too tiring as i'm leading a group of 8 with 4 seniors (50+)

Day1-4
Flight to Tokyo
Check in Hotel in Tokyo
Travel around Tokyo for 4 days

Day 5-6 to Osaka via shinkansen (JR pass activation)
Check in hotel in Osaka
Spend the day around Osaka

Day 7 to Nara via JR Railway from Osaka (Day Trip)
Travel around Nara
Return to Osaka via shinkansen after dinner

Day 8 to Kyoto via shinkansen from Osaka (Day Trip)
Travel around Kyoto
Return to Osaka via shinkansen after dinner

Day 9 to Kyoto via shinkansen from Osaka (Day Trip)
Travel the rest of Kyoto till around 3PM
Return to Osaka for dinner via shinkansen

Day 10
Checkout at 2PM
Linger around Osaka for a while and then shinkansen back to tokyo for flight
can stop for shopping at some tokyo station before heading to haneda airport
Is this feasible?

only nara doesn't

yup, which is very good IMO, can consider it as part of osaka and travel it as day trip 

found that Travel Recommends selling the cheapest JR passes, anyone tried their service? how's the review?
