Now i feel completed.
Protective hard shell case + full tempered glass + back protector + lens protector. Finger cross nothing happen in future biggrin.gif

I prefer normal back protector so that i can change casing easily.

If use tempered glass at back, can use bumper only.

So this time no clear coat.

Happy holiday and merry christmas all smile.gif

Nice, I am still lacking of back protector + lens protector, do you buy a quality one on this? What's the price?
*
Back protector is normal one. Rm10. This is prevent scratch from tiny little things that came such as dust. As when we use casing, there will be are dust trapped between casing and phone itself.

Lens glass protector, baseus. Rm29 (got 2 protector)

I just go round any shop at lowyat.

If clear coat, gonna be perfect however cant use hard shell case. More suitable like tpu or rubber material such as rugged armor. This one for me worth the money. But then it depends on the casing too.

Last time i use lifeproof ip6 and below for free of mind.

So for me 3 option:

1. Fully covered with front tempered glass + back protector + lens protector and hard shell case
2. Fully covered with front tempered glass + clear coat + lens and tpu material case
3. Protective case such as lifeproof (the last option however now iphone already had water resistant. Might not go to this l anymore)

Woah, thanks for sharing of the above. I will look for back protector, it makes sense though when the dust/sand is going inside the back casing. Gonna grab a cheap lens protector too. In case it scracthes. Thanks.

Do whatever the best for protection to fit urself.

Happy holiday smile.gif

Has anyone bought the machines protection plan along with iphoneX ?
How does it compare to applecare+
*
Its not the same as apple care.

As far as i know, apple care valid for 3 years.

Machine protection plan valid for 2 years and valid on the same day of purchase only. Meaning in single receipt.

Cant purchase separately

I bought this.. kinda forced to by machines if i wanna opt for 0% credit card installment.

Apple Care for iphones are 2 years. FYI. not 3 years. REF https://www.apple.com/shop/product/S6367LL/...re-for-iphone-x
*
Ops my bad, but then in malaysia there is no apple care for iphone.

Option only with machine protection plan or u can go with harvey norman.

Not sure whether switch provide any of this

true.. but i wonder if we buy apple care in other country can it be activated on malaysian phone or not?

Either way, i see the value with machines plan though. I can ensure the second hand value and also that the phone is protected for 2 years.
*
Apple care 3 years valid for mac if im not mistaken.

Yeah, i also didnt notice bout the protection plan by machines which started back in July this year.

Might need to check with them regarding this

Check from apple website it shows eligible.

To proceed for apple care, it would request u to select country from drop down list. Unfortunately, Malaysia is not included. Nearest was SG.

I noticed in malaysia, even we didnt get offered for applecare, we still have option such as machines and switch protection plan.

But then again, in malaysia as long its original apple then settle.
Overseas, they would buy those protection plan to protect devices for no matter the circumstances.

I guess it depends to individual preferences on how they care for device in term of protection plan

Im still trying to figure out how to fill up my 200GB of free space right now.  sweat.gif

Oh no.
Don't make me thinking bout this again.
I mentioned the same, i should take 64gb. I only used 30-40gb since ip5. Cause ip5 bought 64gb and until previous model ip7 256gb also utilized 30-40gb only

Oh no, dont make that sound came into my mind againnn.....

First time i heard, people want to install mobile security apps in iphone.

I still remember those days back, this thing always mention by nokia user including me to install symantac software.

Apple product such as ipad iphone and even mac does not require those apps as it apple OS which similar with linux OS

Few days ago, i noticed there is a lag while using gesture such as multitask and kill task.

Tried restart for twice, but still the same.

So play along with setting. And figured out that reduce motion is ON. So i off it and give a try again with gesture.

Now i understand, if u turn ON reduce motion u will encountered lag but yet battery save.

But this ipx meant to be for gesture. If is ON, seems like not fully utilize its own features.

And yeah, annoyed too with lagging gesture.

Yeap my reduce motion is always off...if you didn’t mention I don’t even know there’s such function biggrin.gif anyway the few times lag that I encountered kinda fixed with a restart...I can imagine how frustrated it is to still lag after restart sweat.gif but at least u manage to find the culprit...
*
Since apple made that function, i always turn ON as to save battery and i dont like the parallax effect. But for that time of period, u wont feel any diff for those phone like ip6 ipSE and ip7.

However, ipx u will feel more impact if turn ON reduce motion as this model made for gesture.

At first, i thought my screen problem. I feel like oh damn...

Hmmm does it save a lot more batt with reduce motion? Maybe I should try it out for a day or two...
*
Not much, just save up some juice which trick for low brightness, turn off auto brightness, turn off location.

Better use motion rather than close it. Otherwise, u wont utilize the function of gesture on ipx.

It’s one of the question I never miss when I walk in to stores, diff stores say diff thing sweat.gif and I have insider who works in celcom they say 64 were anticipated the fast moving ones that’s why they carry in much more stocks, hence the higher numbers of left over/ availables..

Yea, means the guess might right, 64gb would be a better sales compared to 256gb 🤭 but still, 256gb is good too smile.gif

Then u should get the iPhone X, sell off the 6s+ for a thousand +, and top up abit to get an iPad or even a used one...biggrin.gif win win for u...coz u don’t need the latest iPad to be honest, but latest iPhone makes a diff smile.gif
Oops....don’t tell me you’re one of those tongue.gif

Not that..

Its true that i should take 64 instead of 256..

I have thought that in future wont be enough storage..

Nvm la it’s ok coz u only top up like 700 more...for x4 the storage...no rugi biggrin.gif

I was the first in queue and was offered the 256 (being informed that they only have “1” unit in stock for silver)...imagine that..I almost got the 256 coz of that reason too but after thinking x10 I went with the 64...coz before that I got the 256 for my wife and I know it was a mistake, so better not make mistake twice...so I know how it feels tongue.gif
*
Yeah. Just imagine, if i manage to get 64, with extra money i can buy machine protection plan.

I wonder have anyone here bought it ?
