I'm getting almost 2x battery on my x compare to the 7plus...biggrin.gif

Just do it! U won’t regret a tad bit going to ipx biggrin.gif it’s better in almost everything besides the slightly smaller screen size..

i second this..

1. major diff on daily basis is gesture. changed from physical home to gesture, it might takes awhile to adapt. however, that the future. another thing is faster !
2. battery capacity. can cater my daily usage even until im went to bed, left 20% more. maybe in future i might get wireless charger. who knows right. but how fast it can be ? anyone can enlighten me ?

Actually based on this youtube guy's test, the 29W charger isn't THAT much faster than the ipad charger.

Don't think I'll pay 300+ for the 29W charger + USB-C cable combo to save half an hour or so.

First time embedding youtube videos here. Keeping my fingers crossed. *Edit - Hey hey it worked.
*
Same thing guy of machines told me few weeks ago on usb adapter. Rather than buy usb-c, ipad charger would be sufficient enough.

Even in term of numbers is diff, 12w and 29w. Where people always thought bigger watt would be better. However, in term of hours required it wont much of difference.

Probably, 2hours 15minutes +- or up to 2 hours 30minutes only.

Got, especially when using apps not optimized for iX

Thanks for response.

Mine more on home screen. Its hide under the notch itself rather in apps.

Anyone else mind to share some inputs here.

Appreciate that smile.gif

I used AT for a week before disabling it...coz I realize AT took away too much of gestures for me ie home button, screenshots, volumes etc....I kinda enjoy swiping up to home than double tapping on AT home button..

But I didn’t get any problems with AT hiding under notch in the 1 week experience on the x
*
I noticed few days ago.

Most of it, i use lock screen features by double tap and for screenshot. As i prefer not to use physical button for awhile

I’m liking the swipe up habit more than the double home button on AT but I have to agree with you on the physical button...don’t like to press the power button coz my casing doesn’t provide tactile feel on the power button sweat.gif
*
I didnt use it for home button. Just for lock screen and screenshot.

Much prefer gesture for home screen.

Nope. This is my own phone however im on byod (bring your own device to use company email).

As of now, i did not notice any difference. But on compny email, it mention due to security reasons i would need to update. Failure to do so, i would be suspended from using company email.

Its cool company has these policy to protect themselves and also employees. By updating to latest iOS also protect your own personal information in your phone. But still in view of unstable battery performance, hopefully there is an update to solve this soon.
*
Yes, policy and compliant which employee has to follow. Otherwise, you know the consequences biggrin.gif

If it impact to battery performance, i need to live with it and wait new update to be release

I’m letting go of mine too. Rhinoshield mod with carbon fibre pattern backplate.

Prefer my x-Doria defense lux. Fits better.

Other that Switch partnering with some renowned insurance company to provide their Switch Protection Plan (can't remember the insurer name, maybe it's Chubb or something), do the other "big guns" like Machines and Mac City offer such benefits to their customers too? tongue.gif

This was also one reason why I bought the iPhone X from them, because of this very handy Protection Plan for a careless person like myself! rclxms.gif
*
Attached is plan provided by Machines.

Valid during purchases of iphone x only, cant be purchase separately..

They offer me before payment however i didnt go for it..

You may want to check t&c for this plan for further information smile.gif

Rhinoshield Mod case is good - solid material quality, can feel that it's strong, but it's not to my taste. My reasons:

1. After using it a week, I realised that I don't like cases with removable components.
2. The case makes the phone a bit wide for my hand. I prefer a slimmer, 1 piece case like my x-doria defence lux.
3. I carry 2 phones in my pants pocket so a smaller case makes things less tight down there.
*
Maybe give few days for a try first

Otherwise i would need to sell off rather keep in drawer
