QUOTE(adam_dkh @ Dec 30 2017, 10:54 AM) me, I keep thinking to get IPX or iPad Pro but end up I take IPX yesterday, will wait for new iPad Pro next year. In hind sight, that could be a wise decision, as iPad cycles are in March, so we could see new gen ones in the next few months

QUOTE(fidodido21 @ Dec 30 2017, 03:09 PM) anyone bought their IPX with Hong Leong credit card promotion with RM 500 off with Maxis plan? I find it to be too much of a hassle: - - Only certain cards applied qualifies - and in some cases you need to apply for a two-card combo - Need to apply Balance Transfer - Need to sign up Auto Billing

What's the pros and cons of getting US (simfree set) other than MY set...?
As i know... the pros is cheaper... and the cons is hard to sell here in Malaysia later bcos most user here is concerning on MY set only...
For the warranty, i can send to the service centre here for claim rite...?
Update: ok, I just find out there's slightly different between these 2 sets in terms of processor... Qualcomm vs Intel... can somebody elaborate on this?

QUOTE(nagasaran @ Dec 30 2017, 12:30 PM) Aiya, the glass back considered very durable compared to shitty s8, luckily my phone is still in steady way without breaking any glass part from falling just now on the table to floor. Glad to have only minor peel off paint on the phone size but very minor. I'm planning to have a recovering paint on the stainless steel part. Since my phone is grey space, I need some paint on it! Any sifu and pros here? can show a pic? how did u drop it? hand swipe?

Pros - Cheaper - Qualcomm modem chip vs Intel for Asia iPhones https://www.macrumors.com/2017/12/01/qualco...than-intel/amp/Cons - Resale value lower compared to local unit - Warranty is touch and go - sometimes authorized service center layan, sometimes they don't. Alrite thanks for the fast response... and yeah, the warranty will be like 'depending on luck'... But for the modem chip, is it much different? I try to search a video of comparison specifically for this 2 types, but cannot find it in youtube...

That said, I think real life comparisons will show very minor differences.

Qualcomm vs Intel, I don’t see a difference compared to my wife’s Malaysian set. Resale value? Well I bought cheaper sure sell cheaper also but I’m sure many are willing to buy US set also given the price. I got it for 4410

So probably not worth it, unless apple replaces the seals too...🤔

QUOTE(stinky @ Dec 30 2017, 09:58 AM) Here’s mine Rhinoshield. Front spigen and back Baseus glass Back glass has the halo effect. Thinking to Change to Spigen Crystal case or Tech 21 Bro almost forget to check with you....did you get the problem with bottom gap opened on both your rhinoshield mod? Like the pics below? If your case don't have this issue means it only happens to those who uses the backplate..
