Yeah... was thinking the same thing. Because iphone back is already glass + Tempered + backplate.. will look so huge. But does the backplate gives any protection? Or should i just stick with the tempered glass?
*
Yes the backplate does protect. But there is always worry that the backplate may scratch the glass back of the phone.

If you already have a backplate, i'd advice not to stick a TG at the back. There is a small gap between the backplate and the back of your phone, this does help in dissipating the shock if you drop your phone flat on the back. With a TG in between, you are basically transferring the shock from the backplate straight to the TG and your phone. Instead of backplate to your bumper sides.

Haha the plastic/silicone type? If it is not touching the backplate then should be safer... but no guarantees tongue.gif

Yeap, lucky you. But some people might get it, as this phone is really fragile, at least when spoil, insurance cover smile.gif

I think Switch offers that (bought mine from the very quiet outlet in AEON Bukit Raja), even if I had to pay an extra MYR200-plus for that... Not too bad though, at least I can claim for replacement if the phone is dropped from high up or something... cool2.gif

Spigen has very good rubberized protectors, and they are able to withstand hard impact when you drop an iPhone from high up... I have used their products since the iPhone 6, although I did change the one for my previous iPhone 7 to one that has a picture of the Millennium Falcon, but with rubber grips for easier handling! laugh.gif

I'm the sort of joker that tends to manhandle my gadgets until they become like the Falcon (AKA Hunk of Junk) which is why a sturdy and tough protector is a must! tongue.gif

Other that Switch partnering with some renowned insurance company to provide their Switch Protection Plan (can't remember the insurer name, maybe it's Chubb or something), do the other "big guns" like Machines and Mac City offer such benefits to their customers too? tongue.gif

This was also one reason why I bought the iPhone X from them, because of this very handy Protection Plan for a careless person like myself! rclxms.gif

Depends, if the coverage at your area is good for Digi, yes continue with Digi. I prefer 78 Plan though smile.gif But if 78 is not enough for you, yes 138 is good too.

Problem is below 138 plan i would need to pay the up front which could cost extra RM700-RM900. Which i dont think is worth it. But 138 only give 12GB weekday and 12GB weekend. Kinda less internet. using currently 25GB all day. So im abit worried about that also. Or i might just add on internet.

Wow, how do you actually use 25GB in one day? I'm already having a hard time finishing 20GB in ONE MONTH (considering I watch YouTube for music, every time that I'm driving, which is quite frequent), let alone for a day... laugh.gif

I see. Because the back glass i bloodly expensive. Im quite careful with my phone. So just thinking backplate or tempered glass. I might start off with tempered glass and later on use the backplate but will remove the tempered glass. Thats my plan for now i guess.

25GB ALL DAY 25GB a Month. No Split. The plan 138 with DiGi is split weekend and weekday 12GB. Which i hate the most. Because i consider heavy user. Every month also will use around 23GB also.

Yea, agreed on you though. For me, i will avoid paying higher monthly commitment doh.gif Hence, I will pay more in front, instead of higher plan which cost me 24 months tongue.gif

I assume you guys area talking about Rhinoshield Mod Case.

I used the backplate for like 2 days? Then it scratched like no body business. Damn fugly. Ended up I remove it and put on a Baseus transparent back TG. Looks much much more better and sexier. And the touching feel are good as well. You have the feeling of touching the back of your phone nakedly, like the phone without casing...damn satisfying. If you know what I am referring to, this phone is damn chun to hold nakedly. From time to time I will remove the case and hold and slowly touch it with my hands....wow.... lust.gif

Dropped a few times, all more than 3 feet, probably 4-5 feet range...not a single dent or crack. I would give this bumper a full 10/10 if they fit better and the button is more tactile...but now, I would say....7/10.

Problem why im worried about tempered glass is finger print. i hate it. Even my 6s bhind i put a skin. Too bad it wont work with tempered glass and skin. T.T the baseus TG is edge to edge also? No issue with the mod case? What happen to the rate from 10/10 to 7/10?

To me, this Baseus TG is acceptable as I can easily wipe off the finger prints. In fact if u use the come-with transparent backplate, it is the same. U are going to have finger prints (no as easy to wipe off as TG) and worst scratches.

Not full edge to edge, but with the bumper on, u get a 99% coverage of your back I would say.

7/10 is because of the fitting and button tactile issue. Talked bout this in the earlier thread and I did loaded some pic as well.

Maybe iPhone X receive better network? So the speed faster caused the drainage higher?
