i) Card purchased on 11.11 will expired on 31.12.17 - 99% confirmed

Other card
i) All Balance will expired on 31.12.17 - worst case
ii) Discounted value using voucher will expired on 31.12.17
iii) Discounted value not using voucher will expired on 31.12.17
iv) All value retain until date written on card

On the card it is clearly stated the expiry date. Use your credits before that date and you should be fine.

Lazada has become so unreliable since Jack Ma bought them, this case clearly shows the difference a Western-managed company vs a PRC company.

Back then I would be very confident to say that we will get refund easily if the card somehow expire on 31.12.17, right now I am worried myself too.

The cards which were bought during 11.11 will expire on 31 Dec 17. Others will be expire after a year. It was clearly stated in the terms and conditions during the sales. So why worry?

11.11 clearly stated discount value expire 31.12.2017
12.12 only state card expiry. Nothing on the discounted value.

Those feel upset, please don't keep the GC lah, you can sell to those Ninjas and Uber/Grab drivers at your cost (RM89 or less). They will appreciate! They are petrol drinkers.

on it printed "0118".

does it mean balance burned after "0118"?

or I can reload fresh to continue usage?

Not sure about the old card and transfer of credit between cards. I think the old card will die.
But you can buy a new Giftcard at some Petronas stations, use the new card to top up.
There is a promotion, Get a Shopee-Petronas Giftcard at station and you will get a RM5 shopee voucher.

The cashier asked me to register and she gave me a registration form to fill in saying the card needs to be registered then only can use. But impossible that I can use the RM30 before registration and now RM70 left need to register to use it. Hopefully ur info of 24hrs holding is true, that after 24 hours can use again. doh.gif

I use fill up, cuz i always go for full tank. Later lunch time i will try again, i was informed about the registration last night when i get declined payment, today havent try yet.

I can use it already. Just bought some food in the Mesra store in the Maluri Petronas station. I think you're right about the 24 hours hold.
I think I know why is it.

Here's what I think why:
Ytd lunch time I bought a nasi lemak which was without a price tag using the pet gc in the same Petronas station, then the cashier used petrol to substitute the nasi lemak in the receipt in order to log it in the system. From then the credit started holding for deduction (usually within 24 hrs). Unfortunately the transaction was not successful as claimed by a senior staff there. He said that the nasi lemak credit deducted has been refunded in my pet gc. So which means i got a free nasi lemak ytd. Apparently it was a mistake made by a new staff in the station that he actually not supposed to allow non-price tag items to be used with pet gc as claimed by the senior staff.

Guys, by default this card will have 5 years expiry date, same like your credit card, if you holding the same card and reload time to time, you only allow use it max 5 years only, after that will have to request a new one.

Now back to the CREDIT inside, by default it will last ONE YEAR from the date you purchase online or reload, however for those who purchased on 11.11 (RM89) which Petronas call it special card (you will see wording "test" on the card sleeve) the credit will remain 100 untill 31 Dec 2017, if you didn't finish it by then, 1.1.2018 onwards the value will drop back to RM89.


This is confirmed answer from higher Managemt not Mesra link, don't ask me how I get it, just trust me okay?

Now chill and continue pump petrol yo ~

when u receive ur card, it comes with the sleeve on it right? Then there's a white sticker (where the barcode is) and you can read the wording there.
For normal "standard card" it will written PETRONAS GIFT CARD (Reloadable), for those bought on 11.11, it will be PETRONAS GIFT CARD (Test)

I want to ask, I think on 11.11 I bought 2 . One is the rm85 one whereas another is rm95. Now I try to dig in the pile can Only find one which has test word. other cards no test words so I assume the test wors is rm85 one?
RM 95 one credit should last 1 year I suppose

Recently I bought Gift Card RM45 from Shopee during sale 12/12. Received 2 days ago. Today use the card at Petronas station, shocked to know that the available balance is ZERO. Get printout and call Shopee tel 032298 9222 & spoke to Shah.
He said cannot help. Ask to contact seller pdbretailmarketing directly. Cannot give phone number and wish me to have a good day! However, only can do online chat with pdbretailmarketing and the bad news is no response. Chat many lines but still no response!
Look up for pdbretailmarketing in web & leave a contact note with mesralink.
I felt cheated and lost confidence with Shopee.

apparently they told me there is a system glitch that's why my new card has no value, could also be the reason y other cards have more value than they should.

[Fill Up] is when you want to pump full tank without knowing the exact amount to pump. it will stop after tank is full.

for your example, definitely will stop. I usually select this option when balance rm10-20.

another reason to stop: capped rm80 per pump. just reinsert again to pump the balance.

I want to give closure to my earlier comment on Dec 27, 2017.

Mesralink emailed 24 hours later & gave me a case number and refer my complaint to another dept. Unfortunately, the referred dept did not contact me.

So, I returned the card to Shopee since it was still within 15 days giving the reason as faulty item. After investigations, Shopee refunded the RM45 into my Shopee Wallet on Jan 2, 2018.

Thereafter, I have to spend some time to learn how to activate the Shopee Wallet in order to utilise the refund for another new purchase.

Lucky for you all guys, I think I do not want to buy another Petronas Gift Card. As for me, it is not worth the hassle that I have to go thru for the savings offered. You are lucky if you got no problem with the card.

Thats why always shop from Lazada je, and always pay with Paypal only. Anything touch wood gone wrong, refund are as fast as 24-48 hours. If need to return the stuff, just drop to the nearest MBE outlet.
Sometime after refund, they still compesate for the bad experience u shopping with LZD.

HI guys, i just using GC to fillup petrol few months, now days got many GC with empty credit.. Can it be reload via credit card, if not... it's just a useless plastic card for me now...

Hi all,

Just my 2 cents here: I've been tracking my fuel consumption on my 1.5L Honda City (2017 facelift) since i had started using Petronas Primax 95 in October 2017. Holding most things like travel distance, no. of passengers, type of roads/traffic etc, the consumption is 10.8 km/litre. Previously when I had been using Shell, it was close to 12-13 km/litre.

Even though i bought Petronas GC on average of RM80/piece (20% off), the worst-off fuel consumption comes close to 20% as well. I'm starting to feel that the savings on PET GC may not be very worthwhile after all. dry.gif

Petronas Dagangan offers giveaways worth RM8,888

Petronas Dagangan is offering giveaways worth RM8,888 in the form of a Petronas Gift Card and Mesra loyalty points between February 12 and March 15, in conjunction with the upcoming Chinese New Year celebration.

In a statement today, it said the promotion also offers eight Petronas Gift Cards worth RM888 each as well as giveaways of 8,800 Mesra points for 88 winners and 800 Mesra points for 8,888 winners.

“Customers only need to fuel up a minimum of RM38 worth of Petronas Primax to be in the running for these prizes,” it said.

Meanwhile, PetDag’s head of retail business division Aadrin Azly, said the Mesra Personal Accident Plan via the Axxess programme provides the member Accidental Hospital and Death benefits of up to RM50,000.

“The plan is currently being offered for only RM1 (100 Mesra points) monthly, when they spend a minimum of RM100 per month at any Petronas station nationwide.

“In conjunction with the festive season, Mesra card members who sign up for the Mesra Personal Accident Plan before Feb 28, 2018 will receive complimentary Mesra PA benefit for the first month,” he added. - Bernama

Previously lazada still showing even though when they running out-of-stock, just cannot make purchase only.

Maybe in the form of e-voucher, which they can save the delivery and card cost.
The Petronas e-voucher is now available at 11street.
