Which bank offer you 2.9? How many years and dp?

Looking to get myvi too. So far your interest rate seems to be the lowest.

Haven't got the car yet but I've test driven it two times at different location

Just need to get used to it, just like driving a manual car. When lights turn green you can start lifting the break slightly for the engine to start first as cars infront start to move

I think all the concerns about battery and starter dying is got to do with the fact that it's Perodua. Other car manufacturers had been using this system for years and there's no major complaints. So far I've heard the best implementation is Toyota hybrid, when engine start you can't feel it at all, just release and drive

But of course the off button is there for a reason, just switch it off if u feel it's better that way
*
The battery and starter dying issue also happens to Mazda btw. It's a well-known issue. The car needs to travel over some distance to charge the battery well. If you're in traffic, the battery needs to consume it's power on every idle start.

You have to also remember that the special battery used for idle stop cars are also more expensive. Imagine those that experience this kind of issue and need to replace battery every year. Not only battery kong, poket also kong.

But at least I didn't see a lot of complaints about this in Bezza group, so hopefully this issue will not be something you'll face with the Myvi. But then a lot of those people also switch it off every time, so cannot say for sure.

Some branches have stock for 1.5h also.. buy I think selling fast.. many gave up ADV n go for H instead...
*
The price difference between H and AV are not very big for the additional stuff that you get, hence why a lot of people opting for AV.

Granite grey is the most popular choice and have the longest wait list. My SA actually advised me to choose white because it somehow has shorter wait list.

Planning to change my booked ADV grey to ADV silver color.. grey certainly looks nicer.. but it kind of shrinks the car a bit.. optically illusion perhaps..

Silver pulak standard, matches every car but nth special.. but silver is cooler during sunny day, easier to maintain, dirts n scratches are not easily seen, also easier to be spotted at night, safer at night, also the car feels slightly bigger with silver (again optical illusion)..

What do you guys think?
*

I like the grey better, but I don't like the wait. So I'm thinking of changing it to white or grey or purple. Silver is like a 'default' color, so nobody is thinking anything when they see it. Doesn't really say much.

White on the other hand, you could easily see if it's dirty so need to take special care. If you put black stripes on the right places, it would really pop up the look. That's why I'm leaning more towards white.

My SA just showed a memo from Perodua. All colors for 1.5AV waiting list is 10-11 weeks now. Only white color 7-8 weeks.

1.5H a lot of ready stock. If anyone wants your car quick, change to 1.5H la

Just roasted my SA for late delivery, booked on first day of launching - got info now that it will be late Jan/somewhere in Feb.

Demanded for rebates and freebies so now to play the waiting game and see what she delivers.

Also tendered and reserved my number plate, so hopefully she speeds up the process. Legit cannot wait for my 1.5AV to join the gang!

What kind of SA la like this? Troublesome.

Guys for loan 9 years 3.12% ok ka?
*
Which bank? I noticed that affin interest is lower with lower loan period, but KFH offers lower intereast rate for longer loan period.

2.93% affin for 5 years, 2.9% kfh for 9 years

VBC just released earlier today. Still running 3 number right now. If you got lucky, can get nice 3 number leftover from those who tender.

Myvi fuel consumption, from what I read, is not even close to the official figure claimed by Perodua.

Also some forumers do complain the handling of Myvi...not even close to Persona...
*
Previous gen myvi also around 12-13 km/L at first. But after 30k service, best FC I achieved was 17 km/L. Just use your car first, the FC will get better.

btw, is it necessary that new car need to drive super slow? like how slow is the max? and for how long?

My principle is do not go above 3k RPM before 1000km. Speed should not be the dictating factor.

I wonder why some people manage to get their car very fast. I saw a post in fb group earlier that one person got his 1.5AV in 1 week. He claims that he went straight to the showroom near the factory.

If this is the case, Perodua is not being fair and their procedure are not standard at all. People can cut queue easily.

Why there's no automatic central locking when the car starts moving? I'm not used to pressing the central lock every time in the car.
*
JPJ ruling states automatic central locking only can be done if the car automatically unlocks when crash. I think Perodua is lazy to develop the sensor (or just being cheap), so they stop it since JPJ starts implement that rule.

someone shared his fast driving on the facebook group. https://www.facebook.com/hector.soh.9/video...2&theater&ifg=1

see whether can access or not? Not too sure which variant he's driving though.
*
How fast is it actually? No speed was stated. From the road, it seems like the SKVE. If the timing is correct @ 7 am, staying on the right like that is not actually that fast, maybe around 130km/h.

not so sure but this is what i get from their customer service's email :
"For your information, the estimated waiting period for Perodua Myvi 1.5 AV is within 2.5-3 months which starts from the loan approval date or the booking date if purchase by cash. This is also subject to the sales outlet's waiting list."
*
Looks like they use the loan approval date... Then those who got loan approved much later than booking date will suffer a bit la.
