Btw did everyone tint their front windscreen on top of the original layer (for 1.5AV), or did y'all take out the base tint first?

Pretty sure RM85 is Myvi 2018 version, but they sell the unit only, not including installation

Team i am back for new update! Back in Jan i went for my 1st 1000k inspection & complained on the rear knocking sound whenever running through speed bumps. At that time SC told me that they will addon 'Rubber Insulator' as a solution to the rear spring knocking sound.

However, today at SC now they replaced with a whole new improved & so-called rectified springs set to my Myvi!

Below are the spring set picture & comparison to the old spring for all without the need of the rubber insulator smile.gif Kudos to P2 for a permanent fixed solution at last!

Was this was 5k/10k inspection or did you just show up to complain again?

Aircond vent still rattling even after putting a thin piece of sponge cry.gif

The rattling noise is so obvious that I literally lean over to passenger side aircond vent to hold down my chrome lining while driving just to get 10 seconds of peace doh.gif

Anyone tried with H11 LED foglamps? Can't seem to find any reputable brands one, only found China ones.

Does the wattage matter? Some are 60W 100W etc.

Looking at changing my foglamp. sweat.gif

Those who have detached their chrome linings and chrome around foglamp (For 1.5AV), how do you detach it?

Just yank out? hmm.gif

I did not do that chrome removal thingy but I had a buddy which recently did that. It's called chrome delete.

Basically (AFAIK), it's possible to just wrap the chrome area with black vinyl or just spray paint it to black.

Not sure if they did remove anything, but I'm pretty sure nothing's removed.

But I saw the procedure of how they did take out the chrome part to do the black wrapping.

Open the fender area with a screwdriver got 2 screw I think (same on how you change the foglights).

There are clips securing the foglight so I don't think you can just simply yank it off  laugh.gif . I believe you have to put your hand inside the fender and push it out from inside the fender. Hope it helps.
*
Yeah I'm planning to get those sprayed with plastidip.

For now I need to really sort my passenger aircond vent chrome lining rattle, it's driving me crazier by the day shakehead.gif

1. City is not necessarily more reliable than Myvi
2. RM16k is a lot of money for myvi buyers. Don't forget to add in insurance premium and servicing costs which should be more costly for City
3. Myvi has 6 airbags
4. Myvi has lower FC
5. Some people prefer smaller car
6. Why not top up a bit for City V spec?
*
Beg to differ. My City can go 500km easily city driving with occasional heavy footing wheras Myvi has only scraped 350km with light footing 100% of the time.

Is yours the new Myvi or old model?

How many km/L are you getting for your City?
Using xxxkm per tank is not accurate.
*
New Myvi. Maximum getting 12km/L

City getting 14-15km/L easily with no problems.

Not calculation.

But from pump.

Let's say 22 liter

Each difference big?
*
So using my calculation (from pump)

22 liters x 12.1 (maximum), average would be 11.7-11.9 for Myvi

22 liters x 14.15 (average) for my City

Daily commute is 75% highway by distance. But my last 25% in the city traffic is very bad. End up I spent 50% of time on highway & 50% on city.

Weekend usually 70% city drive.
*
Ah your 15km/L is cause of highway.

I'm also clocking nearly 3k km now, 12.1km/L tops.

First 1-2k km was clocking 10.8km/L

do explain more how is that a design flaw?

my dad's Toyota Prius will sometimes hit the bottom of the car as well when passing road bump

given the uneven/non standard road bump design in Malaysia, it can't be helped

Ignore the fella lah. He doesn't even own one and he's only talking sh!t about the car as if he knows. yawn.gif
