Can someone explain the meaning of "speed-sensing wiper" in Myvi?
I understand it needs to be in intermittent setting for speed sensing to work.

In intermittent setting, the wiper will speed up when you drive faster.

Thank you. Do you find speed - sensing more useful or the usual variable-speed adjustable more practical?

Can anyone confirm that the RM300 booking fee for Myvi is refundable without any condition (apart from the 10% admin fee - as told to me by one SA) if we do not wish to carry on with the purchase? Under what condition will the booking fee be non-refundable?
Thank you in advance.

hi anyone booked a myvi recently? what is the Raya special promotion other than the gst rebate? how many % interest rate running now and how long waiting list now for 1.5H? thanks

Apparently, for Myvi no other special promo apart from the GST rebate. And if SST kicks in before you get your car, you will have to top up the price difference.

So if a fella booked on 1 June 2018 when GST 0%, car got delayed 2 months or so because he booked 1.5 Advance...and 2 months later SST law enacted - so he has to top up?

This is confirm?  hmm.gif

Yes. SA told me this.

tomorrow new price without GST.
so the insurance also w/o GST means it will be slightly cheaper right.
*
Insurance w/o GST is definitely cheaper, provided you know the quoted premium before GST.

I read in the papers that P2 is offering up to RM800 rebate. This I assume is from P2 itself, so you can probably squeeze a bit more from the SA. FYI, there was no rebate from P2 when I checked on Monday.

the latest generation myvi sell like hotcake and they are squeezing the production line to meet demand.

I dont see any company would do a discount for that kind of scenario.

Is simple economics 101 laugh.gif

Another school of thought:
It's a zero-sum game. Other car dealers are giving discounts, including P1. This will exert pressure on P2 no matter how good their demand for Myvi is. For example, Picanto can be had for RM47k.
