My tools are written in the siggy. Minus the FL-50 and diffuser as I haven't bought them when I took those pictures.
Thanks for the comment. |

QUOTE(m|ng @ Apr 27 2007, 08:59 AM) Nice! The pictures above are taken in broad daylight. No flash. You need to adjust your angle to get the best lighting for your picture. Furthermore, Olympus cameras do have very good metering of the whole frame. Coupled with just a bit of PS and it will be perfect.1 question, how do you get such a consistent lighting on the subject on macro shot? Macro Ring Flash? I've always tried taking macro pictures but my cam will end up obstructing the lighting of the subject? |

This shot is just to capture the overall look of the waterfall. No tripod at that time some more so cannot do slow shutter shots.

QUOTE(m|ng @ May 22 2007, 10:40 AM) Try putting on an ND filter or a CPL? Tone down those highlights.. Noted about the slow shutter and the ND/CPL filter for water shots.yea, I think a slower shutter will be nice.. I always carry those small lil tripod in my bag..comes in handy Adding one lousy portrait I took at about 250mm equivalent before the purchase of the FL-50. Please flame. ![]() This post has been edited by CompMac: May 22 2007, 04:49 PM |

Well, my little camera can't tweak the temperature. Some more that time didn't think about doing manual WB. That place damn dark some more and too crowded.

That I'm not too sure. Can't really see the man himself from so far. But I think he is a bit tanned. Not like the advertisement you see on TV where he is like flour.

QUOTE(Joshua_0718 @ May 24 2007, 03:14 PM) I m noob in photography. How to shoot this? Using macro? The ship so far away also blur, i tot macro for near object? Use the lowest aperture value and more zoom. Focus on your subject and the rest will be blurred naturally.FYI, I always set my camera to macro mode when taking pictures. |

I shoot anything with macro, even landscapes. It seems that I might get sharper pictures by using macro mode all the time.
