Satria GTi is one of the most stolen car. Car thieves are actually hunting for them... so u pick ur choice, I rather get a more conventional car, than to worry about my car being stolen every where I go.

I have made my decision, guess what?

GTi!!!!

The poll tell me to buy GTi too...

Ok, my conclusion is, I don't 1 to MOD car ad, so Modding Waja is not the thing dat I can do now. Modding car will be later, I might change GTi engine to 4g93t or maybe mivec, but dunno when..lol...

I saw a GTi beside the road just now, it's a R3, very fascinating, interior n exterior, maybe the car is clean, so i think dat way...lol...anyway...the interior is very nice too...gear box..wah..fall in love...lol.... rclxms.gif

THANKS IN MILLION!

I'm planning to buy a second hand car, Satria GTi n Waja, Priced range at RM35000...

Satria GTi(2000-2001),
Reason I wanna buy this car:
-I like racing(Just take it, don't comment, coz I hav no money to buy Evo9)
-I like it's exterior, stylish.
Reasons that stoped me from buying this car:
- 6-7years car ad, very old.
-1.8cc, high road tax n insurance
-Doesn't suit me, becoz I'm quite big in body size, sitting inside GTi make the car looks very small.

Waja (2003-2004) NOT CAMPRO ENGINE and manual 1,
Reason I wanna buy this car:
-It's exterior is not as nice as GTi(for me), but its interior is way better than GTi.
-Spacious n big which suit me
-Newer compare to GTi at the same price range.
Reasons that stoped me from buying this car:
-Underpowered, can't race, or u can say yes when i transplant to Mivec engine, but transplant engine no need money meh?
-Thinking to modisfy it, again, no need money meh?

If u r me, which 1 will u choose? Y?

then i'll take waja lor..if not go for gti..

Dude there is satria GTI R3, its a normal satria gti tweaked with R3 goodies from the R3 team. But now all is sold out.

Glad the TS made his decision. One word of advise, be sure to spend some money to improve the car security coz the satria gti is always on the thief's hotlist.

dude,
its not that easy .. to hybrid a mivec... normally ppl buy the whole halfcut remove everything and use back the 1.8 block.. to get 1.8 mivec..and the ECU of the 1.6 mivec wont know the fueling well.. u need a piggy back to reprogram the fueling itself.

The total of the cost will be higher than transplant to a 1.6 mivec .. coz u need to pay workmanship for swaping the BLOCK .. then u have to get a piggy back ECU to perform the nessesary upgrade. else ur engine will be running very lean and if u revb too much with lean fuel.. u might blown up the engine. biggrin.gif

my fren 4G93 hybrid a mivec .. cost him like 10k ++ .. at least... but he got 155bhp on wheel... rclxms.gif

congrats to threadstarter for owning GTI.
how's the car condition?
make sure do appropriate service, including change of fuel & oil filter. run around see how the mileage runs, so you'll know what to expect.
