I'm planning to buy a second hand car, Satria GTi n Waja, Priced range at RM35000...
Satria GTi(2000-2001), Reason I wanna buy this car: -I like racing(Just take it, don't comment, coz I hav no money to buy Evo9) -I like it's exterior, stylish. Reasons that stoped me from buying this car: - 6-7years car ad, very old. -1.8cc, high road tax n insurance -Doesn't suit me, becoz I'm quite big in body size, sitting inside GTi make the car looks very small.
Waja (2003-2004) NOT CAMPRO ENGINE and manual 1, Reason I wanna buy this car: -It's exterior is not as nice as GTi(for me), but its interior is way better than GTi. -Spacious n big which suit me -Newer compare to GTi at the same price range. Reasons that stoped me from buying this car: -Underpowered, can't race, or u can say yes when i transplant to Mivec engine, but transplant engine no need money meh? -Thinking to modisfy it, again, no need money meh?
If u r me, which 1 will u choose? Y?

Hmm are you single or have your own family already?
If single, probably GTi coz u'll be able to go fast.
If got family, then Waja coz it's spacious, very comfortable.

I'd go with the Waja. At the end of the day, you'll be spending most of your time in KL traffic anyways, so go for the one that'll make you feel more comfortable.

satrio GTI vs Waja = Savvy vs Myvi = Performance vs Comfort both of them was different classes, quite difficult to decide... i go for waja, at least it upgrade-able from stock to performance part later... if satria , it not upgrade-able from 2 door to 4 door... but tat car is ur ride only and wont fetch much ppl by using it and use it on race track (dont speeding on usual road ), go to satria gti...

Gti got a better body compare to normal satria... the stuff is much more better.. from all my fren who drive WAJA said it has the worst spare part and the quality is worst... even some wira spare parts is better den WAJA (a spare part dealer say it to me)...
for me i will not think twice... my choice is GTi!!!

I've driven both. I'll pick GTi anytime. Reason? It's just simply too fantastic to be driven.

Waja because the Satria is a 2-door and 2-doors have bad resale value.

For me, I will get Waja lor.. Cause it more spacious and comfortable.. GTi, I believe the ex owner sure force the engine use kaw kaw already.. Furthermore, waja road tax will be cheaper.. And what I suggest, why don't you try find other 2nd car beside Proton? RM35k you can get other 2nd car beside Proton. Buying 2nd Proton, you might regret.

I like GTi but after using my head i will pick waja. Reason: 1. Waja spacious 2. GTi - hot target for car thief 3. GTi - 2 door (low resale value) 4. Waja power enough for as cannot speed too much also due to free ticket waiting.. highway also max 110 to 120 only maa..

For me, it's better to get the GTI coz u'll get better fuel milage even if u don't race. Bsides, the power is there whenever u need it. Aren't like the Waja, u'll need to modify when u need the extra power. Waja also well known for it's prone to problems. Better check which version it is b4 deciding. Although u might feel the GTI is small, but when u sit inside, u might feel differently about the space. Its similar to a Wira, but with smaller back seats only. As long as the GTI is accident free and has low milage, should b alrite coz the engine is a good unit while the rest of it should b of certain standards compared to a fully-designed local car. Mayb u'll need some time to get used to the semi-bucket seats of the GTI but when u do, u'll never go back to normal seats. So, for me, it's the GTI

you want to race ? u just answer yourself right ? gti can "race" better then a waja... waja is a family sedan.... and its only 1.6cc compared to the GTi which is a 1.8cc and if u are into racing, please dont complain about the high FC, roadtax and insurance... its part of the game

i would say waja...
reason, pay a same amount, but u 'll get a newer car and more spacious. In term of comfort i think waja also win... power and speed waja loose lar... if u are those racer then gti lor, but u are those responsible driver, waja also quite good.. most of my colleague also drive waja.......

im a waja campro user....go for waja....i wanted to buy satria neo but after test driving both cars...i decided on waja.....cause when u drive waja...u feel its solid...and well i just had an accident...and i was suprised.....then impact was so bad...but the damage was minor....
i think if a satria it would have been a total lost...
try visiting our team imperials website to find out more about waja....
www.team-imperials.drives.it
waja would be a good choice...seriously....you would be surprise about the under powered...obviously u cannot compare it to satria gti as the difference in CC and GTI model is completely not comparable...
1.8 vs 1.6 GTI vs stock...
u get my point la....
go for WAJA...
