I thought ECG feature cannot use outside of USA?

You're right, this feature not enabled outside the US yet. Hmm, but its a selling point and will eventually be available once the necessary approvals obtained.

Oh well, mum is making noise cause her 5s kept having bloated battery. Replaced 3 times within 1 year time period... RM80~RM100 each time tsk, should have gone for the original Apple instead .

Gonna grab the iPhone 8 64 GB from T&L Qoo10, RM2,465 after using the RM400 voucher hehe. Not bad I reckon.

Ah crap, its actually RM2,565 since its below RM3,000... top up buy 2 cables to make it RM3000 .

Official MY set was going for 2699 on Lazada during their 27/9 sale couple days ago... If you can wait why not wait till the next round of sale on 11.11?

My mum's using a 5S too, so far so good except there were white stripes appearing on the screen few months ago but it was still under warranty

iPhone 8 is global warranty right? Since this region using the same model. But then the 5s battery is bloated now, if I spend another RM100 to replace the battery also not worth it =/

I think we've discussed the warranty to great lengths already, hehe. It's a bit of a hit and miss sometimes depending on which authorized service centre you go to but I think shouldn't be a problem...

Just over couple of months ago. I bought it last year at Machines warehouse clearance, they had this "buy one for RM999 and a second one for 50% off". So one for my mum, one for my mother-in-law

Worst case I send to Apple Singapore to claim cause my cousins and all bought iPhones not from Singapore but was able to claim. But then again, experience with Apple was pretty OK... #fingerscrossed

You didn’t warranty claim the white stripes problem?
Maybe they got no more 5S to give you, they substitute with the SE .

I did, but unfortunately they managed to fix it, no replacement set or replacement SE

So far, I dont find anything wrong yet other than camera portrait mode color randomly adjust. But, I dont feel the new speed upgrade, like other iphone user feel on their 5s, 6, 6s when upgrading to ios12.

The XR quite tempting, better battery and the new design...but have to give up dual camera, 3d touch and sharper screen...

To me 3D Touch won’t be missed though, hardly used it anyway.

1080P vs 720P. No brainer for me.
