U guys read or see regarding a driver wanted to attack lady rider? Amazing how those morons in fb really support the driver eventhough he clearly being rude and try to attack the lady.
*
That's why I've left all but one UG group in FB.

Most of them are toxic to the point of no return.

By the way it's crazy in Putrajaya today. Many pickup points were above 4km. I was at Presint 17 when a RM5 ping from Presint 9 came in. That's like almost 5km. I thought what the heck la since can fill up my HG slots. 2km away and the rider cancelled 😭 So I went straight to Putrajaya Sentral and got a GS ping from Garden Residence for RM10. 5km pickup again but it's okay. After I dropped her off at Cyberjaya, not one ping received. So I headed to Putrajaya, and when I was further a bit from Petronas, I got a ping from Presint 9 RM12 and we were 6km apart. Crazy day today. I think many drivers are on a holiday or something. The only good thing is that my HG is looking nice so far.

Yaloh.....just now i at bangsar received a ping to mid valley,pickup time 25 minutes.wtf

Ask customer cancel, die die dont want cancel.grab didnt charge cancellation fees like uber ma...aih
*
Ok la 25 minutes.

Last night I was at South City Plaza and got a ping from Mines Starbucks at 9.50pm. Told the rider I'll be there in 15 minutes due to massive traffic jam. At last I reached at the pup at 10.40pm. What the hell. Turns out people are hogging to Mines due to the Big Bad Wolf sale.

50 minutes for 2km is the worst I've ever experienced in my U/G life.

So it has been proven that, specifically for me, in order to maintain a high DR, I need to:

1. Talk only when I feel like talking.
2. Continue to talk if the rider is willing to talk more.
3. Drive like an uncle.

It has been one heck of a roller coaster rider. 5-> 4.96-> 4.87-> 4.89-> 4.93-> 4.92-> 4.93-> 4.97 over the course of two months.

What I can say is, from my own personal experience, my DR, my riders, my income(including tips from riders) and my level of happiness are way better than when I used to drive with Uber before, although it must be said that Uber's CS is incomparable to Grab's "pro" CS 😂

Grab also practice double pricing for Normal and Platinum members, i spoke to one rider before and he confirmed that.

Platinum rider - RM10 (Rider own account - Using Grabpay and >1000 ride)
Normal rider - RM16 (Rider's friend account - using cash and less than 10 bookings)

Both pick up and drop off location also same, see that difference between 2? Now i know why certain ride is incredibly low.

Beside that, during off peak time Grab app will round down the fare instead of rounding up. Imagine RM1 per ride times the job u received during off peak time. This one definitely screwing flexi left right, no affect on incentive driver.
*
At least you can see the fare and destination of the rider beforehand and you have 10-15 seconds to decide whether the trip is worth the effort or not.

I can't remember how many times I've driven more than 5km to pick up Uber riders only to receive RM2-5 fares 😂

Where in Subang do you usually camp though?

I've went to USJ several times before and never received a single ping from there.

I've just checked the Uber rider app and I'm quite surprised their fares are more or less competent against Grab's.

Presint 14 to Alamanda:
Uber: RM6.40.
Grab: RM6.

Presint 14 to KLCC:
Uber: RM34.
Grab: RM32.

I would say overall, Grab drivers still have the upper hand here since they can know beforehand the destination of the rider and if you've opted in for abang sado, +2 for you. Anyway, that's still a nice improvement on Uber's part.

Sent my Exora to Putrajaya Service Center this morning and I checked the fares to my house in Presint 14:

Uber: RM4.15
Grab: RM7

Surprisingly Putrajaya was full with Uber drivers this morning. Grab, while I could see plenty of cars in the app, I very much doubt it though. I still remember once when I was camping outside of DwiPutra Residence, the app showed plenty of Grab drivers near me, but I saw none at all. Bloody hell 😂

This was normal when I drove for Uber before.

I was about to go online when suddenly Uber asked me to take a selfie first in the middle of the road 😂

By the way the traffic heading towards South City Plaza from the flyover is super crazy. Took me nearly 30 minutes to get to South City from that flyover.

Yesterday I requested Uber to go to Putrajaya Proton Service Center from Presint 14F. A driver accepted my request and I texted him the exact house number and he told me he was on the way. It was more than five minutes but I could see the driver didn't move one bit from Presint 14H so I waited until nearly 10 minutes than I cancelled the trip. The driver also asked me for my destination before hand and this really triggered me because I've never asked my riders' destination after accepting their requests. Maybe that is one of the reasons why my rating is 4.83 when I used to drive for Uber and if you used to drive for Uber, you know how hard it is to maintain 4.8 and above, unlike Grab.

This morning I checked my Uber rider app and I was charged with RM5 cancellation fee. What the hell Uber? I cancelled the request because the driver took so long to reach me and he didn't move from his spot. Furthermore the cancellation address was P14H, which was his location while I was waiting at P14F. These two are separated by a 1.3km road which can be covered in 3 minutes if you drive like an uncle. This driver also has a rating of 4.49, which is borderline low. My rating as an Uber rider is 5, because as a former Uber driver, I know which passengers I appreciate most so I try my best to emulate them.

I've made a report so I'll just wait and see. Hopefully Uber will reverse the fee to the driver instead of to me.

If you see driver rating very low, quickly cancel it.. my brother also kena the same tactic by grab driver, rating 4.29, and waited more than 20 minutes, the driver did not move... when u send in app to uber, they will reimburse you rm5...accept and wait if the driver rating 4.7 and above...
*
Thanks for the tip bro. I totally forgot I used to only accept requests from 4.8 and above riders only.

I was in a hurry at that time because I needed to collect my car at the service center and had to go to Kajang to submit my business requirements.

I've been credited with RM5 by Uber but I still get a notification saying that I owe them RM5.

By the way, this driver clearly messed up with the wrong person. I had a good look at his photo and realized I used to see him around my area quite often. If I ever bumped into him I will set the record straight, by mouth or by steering lock 😂

By the way does this mean that if a rider cancels the request after 5 minutes of it being accepted, Uber will charge RM5 on the rider? 👇

Hahaha this one wins big time hands one. Riders also won't ask anymore about it 😂

By the way everytime riders ask me whether I drive for Grab FT or PT, I always tell them I do this PT only because I'm a consultant(a sweeter name for insurance agent la 🤣) and I need to meet my clients here and there. Most of them will straight away change the way they talk to me, as if we're dealing on a business.

Take care of yourself guys don't overwork, rest well.

I solved my back pain problem by going to a chiropractor in IMU Bukit Jalil.

RM100, quite pricey, but I now have the pose of a bodybuilder. My back has never been this straight before. The drawback is that ever since my spine has been aligned correctly, my tummy is showing up nicely 😭

Bro, do u mind sharing contact for the IMU chiropractor? Been wanting to see one since months back. Had some back issue even before started Grab. Thank you

You can even schedule your appointment and choose which clinic you want to go online:

http://www.imuhealthcare.com.my/contact-us...tic&booking=Yes

If you go to IMU Bukit Jalil, ask for the big Malay chiro. If I recall correctly, his name was Zul and he wears a pair of glasses.

He's the no-nonsense type. Prak prak prak but you will feel so damn good after that. One very nice thing I noticed is I tend to go to sleep early, wake up early and have the best sleep I've ever had in years since I went to IMU chiro.

There's also one good osteo center at Setia Walk Puchong called One Osteo but very expensive - RM300 per session.

5.0-> 4.96-> 4.87-> 4.89-> 4.93-> 4.92-> 4.93-> 4.97-> 4.98 over the course of two months by driving like an uncle.

Never underestimate the mental strength required to drive like an uncle, and it does reflect well in your DR 😂

On top of that, I also:

1. Talk only when I feel like talking.
2. Continue to talk if the rider is willing to talk more.
3. Drive like an uncle (smooth, steady, slowing down from far away instead of stopping suddenly, avoid making sharp turns etc).
