my way:
reach pup, press "I'm here", send a message like "Hello I'm here".
Note the time stamp of "Hello I'm here" message

time stamp + 6 mins (avoid few seconds error) I will cancel with passenger no show and drive off.
Grab's shared way in class:
reach pup, press "I'm here", send a message like "Hello I'm here".
Call driver at least once.

Reached the 5 mins mark, send a message indicating that you are going to cancel because passenger no show.
go offline
take screen shot of chat with time stamp you saying you're going to cancel because passenger is not seen with the time stamp of +5 mins of your arrival to pick up location.
Cancel as passenger no show.
Save screenshot for homework after driving for the day and report each passenger with screenshot.
go online back and continue driving.
Grab will record your timestamp of when you press "I'm here", when you make a call and when you cancel as passenger no show. Grab will detect through GPS if you're at pick up location as well.
I was temporary suspended because my CR is around 15% for 2 weeks in a row. They said system will detect and temporary suspend if CR 10% and above and you're the top 5% highest CR. in 24 hours will get my account reactivated back.
Good thing this passenger no show thing comes in, will help not increase my CR for nothing. Sad thing is no compensation for cancelling. They did say they are experimenting in Singapore for passenger no show compensation, no news if intro in Malaysia yet.
