This Kari King seems like a very popular place among Bangladeshis and foreign Indians. I've sent South Asian there. Is it any good?

I've been experimenting with flexi-type of driving for three days this week so I'm going to do it for the whole of next week and see how it will fare for me.

Now that sucks some serious balls right there because I have too many of no shows this week that my CR is 17%; an all-time high.

Today I drove for fares only although I'm still on HG.

7 hours of driving my thirsty Exora, collected RM265; no 6s pings at all with RM165 being nett profit.

I'm still at odds hunting for big fares only because while the stress of maintaining 80% is greatly reduced but so is my nett profit by ~30%. I'll give it a shot for the whole week to see how it pans out.

Couldn't agree more with you there.

This recent Saturday I received a ping from Mines to somewhere for RM 7. I accidentally tapped on the button twice and out of panic I tapped the button again for the third time and it showed I have dropped the rider off at his destination, and I didn't even move from my location at that time. I sent a message to the rider telling him that I've made a mistake and that I was on the way. I was at KTM Serdang at that time. Reached the pup in 4 minutes but the rider wasn't even there. I made a no-show report to the CS and told them the whole story. They appreciated my effort for telling the truth but they couldn't do anything about the deducted commission.

Funnily enough, last night I picked up a rider from IOI City Mall and she accidentally cancelled the ride while she was in my car. She apologized and said to just send her to her place. She paid RM 17 according to Grab's price. 100% went into my pocket 😂🤑

By the way I encountered a very unpleasant trip on that same Saturday night. Picked up two riders from APU TPM and sent them to Bukit Bintang. One of the riders keep on pushing my seat, maybe because he's tall but at least he should have the decency to stretch his legs to the side. I'm driving an Exora and it is doable. His friend even asked me if he could light a smoke in the car. What the hell man. I immediately made report to Grab after dropping them off and to my suprise, Grab CS told me they will be monitoring that rider's account before proceeding for deactivation. Hurray for the driver I guess?

The other day while I was in Kajang, I received a ping from Simfoni Condo going to Sup Lembu Tangkak Melaka for RM207. I nearly took it but it was 11pm and I wanted to watch the League Cup final between Arsenal and Manchester City. On hind sight, I should've accepted the request as Arsenal got a good spanking from the other team.

I thought riders can no longer request for outstation trips?

It has been very slow these past few days isn't it? At least it is in my territory (SKV). Looks like I have to revert to night mode again, which is a very good thing because I know a very good spot in SKV where 5 out of 6 times I will get a trip to KLIA between 4am-5am and it's very near to my house and quite near to the airport but the fare is 65/105 😁

By the way I think Grab has finally taken genuine no-show issues very seriously lately. I've been registering 13%-17% CR three weeks on the trot due to no-shows and I've not received a single warning from Grab. Instead, they gave me SMS stating that no-shows won't be counted towards my final CR 👍👏

I couldn't click the drop off button just now so I restarted my phone and it was still the same.

I logged out of my account but I couldn't log in back again. No notification on suspended account too.

Anybody else facing the same problem?

By the way why is Grab driver app super sensitive? I was scrolling through Whatsapp when suddenly a ping came in. Since my finger was on the phone, it automatically accepted that ping. What the hell? My finger wasn't even near the accept button. Had to cancel it and made remark but so far no feedback from Crap.

Have you guys read the new structure from the app?

Crazy isn't it.

Maybe it has something to do with Uber withdrawing from SEA.

It's in the app between 5pm-6pm but it seems they have removed it now.

Hopefully no more heart-attack surprises like this anymore after this 😂

The only way Grab can efficiently add more drivers is by employing their own staffs as drivers.

Other than that, it's a 50-50 game.

If this goes on, many more will jump ship to MyCar.

Does anybody else feel that Grab's fares seem a little bit lower than what they should've been lately?

Or is it just me?

That's the problem though. I'm outside of the red zone 80% of my Grabbing time.

I still can't connect to Grab's server right now. Thought the issue has been resolved last night?

This just proves that you don't have to be technically competent to conquer the market.

You just have to have big money.
