i received a total of RM23 from fare (one RM8 trip, three RM5 trip). Petrol used approx 5 litres. As I am new, grab gave me RM20 free credit.

RM23 - RM5.75 (25% commission) - RM10 petrol = RM7.25

the worst i get is rm5 for 2hrs . haha. lepak the mines/south city area. no ping. 9pm-10.30pm. then i realize ppl belom gaji lagi hujung bulan. call my wife dont let kids sleep. go back play with them.hehe. well it is like a business sometime ok sometime not. part timer.

1. yes jam around jalan tun razak. and seriously jln genting klang damn many traffic lights, and those traffic lights take damn long to turn green, i guess that is why.
2. i also dont know why, but the new persona is not known for its fuel efficiency la. my total trip length is only 12km not including pickup, if include i guess around 20km. seriously tank bocor ah?

after doing a detailed calculation, i traveled around 40km la (including the lunch meet up with my friends). seriously i am not sure why but my persona is not very good in terms of FC 

I don't disagree that 3 trips per hour is still good earnings.

276/35 = About the same as me 8km/trip. Actually, correction, I check back, actually today I'm closer to 9km/trip.

293+238=531. Minus 20% commission = 424.80

424.80/35 = RM12.14/trip (Haha, same with Uber Ace Diamond tier.)

12.14/7.86 = RM1.54/km.
For me:

115/13 = 8.85km/trip

Earnings per trip after minus commission = RM14.4

14.4/8.85 - RM1.63/km.
Anyway, you misunderstand my meaning again. If my area no pings, what Grab want me to do? I got drive around a bit but still very few pings. Takkan Grab want me to drive more than 10 or 15km to go find pings?
Anyway, why you don't use your odometer to measure your mileage? 276km means from the moment you leave your house until you reach home? I measure my odometer when I leave my house and measure it again when I reach home. All the driving to go to fishing pond and to go home is cost to me.
And yela yela.. I know la need to online for the full hour... This is why Uber Ace less stress. If terpijak into jam area, just cabut. Not like Grab just sit there and die because need to online full hour.

Ping is slow for me.....but luckily no long trip.start at 7pm end at 11pm,gross fare + gross incentive = rm170++

Other than the army camp trip,it is a relaxing drive for me.only use one block of petrol

Tried Grab Associate Flexi on my first week and now trying Grab Ambassador Flexi. And I personally find that Grab Associate Flexi was better than Grab Ambassador in terms of incentive.

Correct me if I am wrong as the Grab Associate Flexi incentives goes by daily, if I hit 13 trips a day, I will have a cashback of 15% of my commission deducted, which means I only pay 10% commission in the end.

But for Grab Ambassador Flexi, I am only guaranteed a RM5 minimum fare, which most of my fare is more than RM5 at the moment and deduct a 20% commission.

Does this make sense?

Thanks for your reply bro. I tried this morning from 630am till 930am. Got 4 trips for about 21 bucks. Will try late night later and see how. Im not with any incentives yet as i signed up before i could register for the bonuses so this week no point driving during rush hour.

Btw i was wondering, if i opted for HG, can i go completely offline for 1 whole day? Will it affect my incentives or my ratings? Will i get any warnings?

That is impressive, as a rider i normally refuse to give five star if they are not sociable or ask for it. You definitely one in a million who can have close 5 star with this attitude....

Just summarize what i earn in year 2017, started at Mar 2017 as part timer

Net earning - 20.7k
Petrol - 4.8k
Maintenance - 4.5k

Still earn about 11k over the past 9 mths, the petrol included my own usage as well. My car is 7-8 years old so the maintenance is on the high side (change absorber/mounting, lower arm, brake pad, disc rotor etc).

Meaning to say that petrol should be around 20-25% of my fare, maintenance about 20-25% of fare, both of that eat up almost half of the fare. For new car maintenance should be lower than that, 10-15% of fare.

Worth of not doing full time, u do your maths

Major repair - Lower arm, front & back absorber, engine mounting (certain part), disc rotor and brake pad. All this cost around 2k to fix and replace. 7 years car if didn't change a lot noise coming out, or jerking sound. Other than that 2k is for normal service, change engine oil, transmission oil, brake fluid etc. And the last part is the air cond service close to RM600, change the radiator fan, air cond gas, dismantle the radiator and wash, replace dryer etc.

Before driving for grab, petrol around 150-200, so should be 3k+.

The figure is net (after commission and add in incentive). My hourly net is around RM25-32, FYI i rarely drive on P block, mostly HP and above only. So agak agak per week can get RM500 net or more, if got something to do then it will be lesser.

One tips for air cond is to replace the air cond filter every 10,000km, if u don't change it frequently, your compressor has to work harder and the chances it spoil is going to be high. Air cond filter can DIY. Other than that have to send to workshop specialize in air cond.

Actually, I do this quite often.

If passenger say can wait for a while ar? Want to go another place. Or they say want to turn back to pickup location. I tell them to book me again. After all, it is Grab rules. I remember when signing up, Grab said cannot pick up passengers without booking.

Even one time I do this until charity 5th trip. I thought after I drop the rider off (1st stop), it will be the next hour, so I already secured a ST for the next hour (2nd stop). But when I drop the rider off (1st stop), still in the same hour. But it's okay la. Still profitable for me, because short distance only, so I can online for full 60 minutes.

But so far, I never pick up the same passenger more than twice a month.

For me i will check the incentive tab,82.8% means 1 bullet,around 85% 2 bullets,above 90% 4 bullets and so on.
