Major repair - Lower arm, front & back absorber, engine mounting (certain part), disc rotor and brake pad. All this cost around 2k to fix and replace. 7 years car if didn't change a lot noise coming out, or jerking sound. Other than that 2k is for normal service, change engine oil, transmission oil, brake fluid etc. And the last part is the air cond service close to RM600, change the radiator fan, air cond gas, dismantle the radiator and wash, replace dryer etc.
Before driving for grab, petrol around 150-200, so should be 3k+.
The figure is net (after commission and add in incentive). My hourly net is around RM25-32, FYI i rarely drive on P block, mostly HP and above only. So agak agak per week can get RM500 net or more, if got something to do then it will be lesser.
One tips for air cond is to replace the air cond filter every 10,000km, if u don't change it frequently, your compressor has to work harder and the chances it spoil is going to be high. Air cond filter can DIY. Other than that have to send to workshop specialize in air cond.
Meaning to say petrol is around 15% of nett fare...
My estimate of standard cost over Gross fares
20% Grab comm
15% petrol
2.5% normal service (oil&filter) RM250 10k km interval
2% tyre RM1k for 50k km (big tyres)
0.5% brake pads 80k km interval (my driving style)
Should also budget timing belt and car battery both near or around 100k interval. Or maybe budget RM300 every 10k km for exceptional items.
My estimate is based mostly on earning RM1 for driving 1km. So it does include pick-up distance etc.
With 40% budgeting for cost over gross is safe. If we get surge or do HG we can bring down 35%.
Tldr... we are earning around RM15-20 per hr of driving in KV.
