Did any HG drivers experience non allocation of short rm5 jobs during UP/MP blocks?

For the last 2 weeks, I had  no short trips (impossible in the areas I'm in) resulting in my daily incentives dropping to <RM10/day! Per hour average <2 trips. Although total earnings were not affected due to high fares but my costs have gone up due to higher mileage.

Can you imagine not getting pickups from 1U or pyramid on weekends but instead allocated pickups a few km away? But if you switch off incentives by setting destination, pings will come within seconds.

Today they lifted this "anti incentive" ban and immediately am getting back the 3-4/trips per hour.

This is a very unethical practice removing efficiencies (eg allocating the nearest car) in the system for their own profits.

guys, im driving crap parttime just 1 month as Flexi,found that those incentives really hard or near impossible to be achieved. so basically i just drive as much as possible to earn little extra pocket money only.
can anyone point out whats the benefit of doing as Flexi by comparing to HG?

i just opt-in as HG today, as i know complete 1-4 trips/hour to get the incentive block. any tips for me to maximize the gross profit?

Full time grab not worth doing anymore and the murder of the poor grab driver is an awakening call for all drivers.So not suprising to see more drivers gantung kunci

Drive part time to supplement income or use MD to work/back home then ok lah

The flexi bonus is like mission impossible. They change the cash back 10/20% to this crap?

Roughly summarizing MOT's announcement..

requirement for e-hailing part: (annually)
- PSV = RM115
- General medical checkup (cost?)
- Insurance cover note including passengers (cost?)
- Puspakom = RM55 (for cars registered to JPJ after 3 years and above, less than 3 years no need Puspakom check)
- 6-hour briefing/lecture = RM200 (attend at selected driving institutes or mana mana badan yg dipilih oleh JPJ.. compulsory)

Good news:
- commission from e-hailing capped at max 20%
- riders need to have valid ID (NRIC/Passport) during registration.
- e-hailing companies need to address issues brought up in the Driver's Tribunal (monitored by government)

Bad news:
- surging multiplier capped at x2.. no more granddaddy shark

Did govern enforce medical checkup for driver even under 50 years of age? That scariest for me, needs to sedut out 5 inch tubes of darah...eeek...If got ncb disc 55%, adding liability coverage for passenger car insurance just like around rm200~300 for a rm50k cars. Others things in 1 year time, take 1~2 days cuti to settle lah.
The objectives of govern adding these leceh stuffs to the complicity as a grab driver is to give chance a bit to taxi drivers lah, "some" of them are good and need to find rezeki of life by driving.

It does not matter if you are PT or FT. We will have to make it work if we think Grab is still profitable to run despite all the regulations. PT say FT will quit because so mafan... FT say PT will quit because no time to go to complete all these requirements... 

I'm a PT. I will make myself complete all the process needed to drive. After that, let see how the Grab and Rider react to all these new laws... Define PT FT? FT no other income than GRAB, PT got other income than Grab. Its not about the hours you spend in Grab. 

In the mean time, Let just keep our cool and keep on driving. 

During MOT press announcement, Loke did mentioned MOT will make some arrangement with PUSPAKOM to have special/dedicated lanes for e-hailing & taxis for inspection.

With the new government in place, do we still need to worry of these ridiculous and purposely failing the inspection for sake of "commission" tradition?

anyone aware of the reasons grabcar issue warning sms which prohibited drivers from getting pings for 3 days in klia airport?

That is their system issue. Cannot blame the drivers.

i m newbie work for grab driver. need your advise and expertiese here.
I am completely sad and helpless on recent bad cases happened on me.

i started working as grab driver in 12 July which a brand new honda city 2018.

At 1st. i doing slowly. so each day i only pickup one or two customer and my DR driver rating is 5star.
at the third day. I fetched a group of banglas ppl in bukit minyak industrial park. they are extremely smelly because they just went out from company. they use my grab service and talking very loud in their language. one of them even took a marry brown chicken and start eating at my car. so i decided to tell him in politely that he should not take the food in the car. bangla reply "okay no problem" and he stop eating.

surprise!!!!! when the next day i wake up. my rating was drop from 5 star to 4 star.         

so total 4 customer since 12 July.

12 july - 1 customer - 5star
13 july - 1 customer - 5star
14 july - 2 customer - 6star (one give 5 star and bangla give 1 star i assume)

my rating (16/20)*5 = 4 star.

so the 4th days. i fetch another 6 customer. and my driver rating go back to 4.5 star.

13 july - 1 customer - 5star
14 july - 2 customer - 6star (one give 5 star and bangla give 1 star i assume)

QUESTION

1. What is partner rating, is that mean customer passenger give a rate to me? from photo is 4.78 but my DR rating is 4.5
2. why my brake and acceleration so high?
3. how they calculate brake and acceleration
4. if i open the "my destination" but no customer, the brake and acceleration rate including?
5. can i log complaint to Grab to help to clear my DR?
