what is the best budget phone to use as a grab driver for good GPS signal?
I intend to be a grabdriver but my phone is old already need to get a new one, I scared my google map will lock in to location very slow.

I'm thinking of buying redmi note 4x. Is this good phone for grabdriver to get good gps?

How long does the battery last? Can go whole day?
But if use the car cigarette as charger and charge while driving shud be no problem right?

how many times they recalculate the fare in your experience? and do the customer complain or refuse to pay when the fare is diff?

so I understand is...if driver complain to uber to recalculate fare....Uber will top up out of their own pocket....but if rider complain... the difference comes out of the drivers earning????

So like u experience. if you drove to a remote kampung area, u probably travel deep into some low populated place. how will you recuperate the loss of coming back distance to town area . let say it's 15-20 km . to come out from that area, i estimate you lose around RM 5 ringgit (probably more) of gas in order to reset back in a populated area.  I wonder if this is one of the weakness in Grab that have not been improve or not highlighted to the CEO yet?

Roads near SMART Tunnel to close over the weekend for Viper Tunnel Challenge

Several roads around the SMART Tunnel will be closed from 11pm on Saturday (April 14) and expected to be reopened to road users at 8am Sunday (April 15) in conjunction with the Viper Tunnel Challenge 2018.

Syarikat Mengurus Air Banjir  and  Terowong Sdn Bhd (SMART),  in a statement Thursday (April 12), said the closure of several roads and entrance to the highway, included the stretch of Jalan Imbi in front of Berjaya Times Square while the opposite lane from Jalan Imbi to Jalan Sultan Ismail will be opened as usual.

“In addition, the road closure will include the entrance to Jalan Kampung Pandan through the traffic light intersection at  Jalan Imbi and Jalan Sultan Ismail and the entrance to Jalan Kampung Pandan via Jalan Barat.

“This closure also involves the entrance to Jalan Kampung Pandan via Jalan Changkat Thambi Dollah and the entrance to Jalan Sultan Ismail from the Kampung Pandan roundabout. Vehicles will be diverted to Jalan Davis while the route in Kampung Pandan roundabout will be opened as usual," said the statement.

and ping slow memang due to lot driver. why uber sell sea business to grab? 1 of main reason definitely biz bad,can't afford to burn more $$. that also means, they have limited rider while they need feed lots driver.
now those driver 90% being absorb into grab, while their smaller customer pool I believe even lesser being absorbed by grab? I guess this the main reason ping slow?

I so long didn't see mapren and less foreign manual laborers.

Now, back to seeing mapren and fetching lots of manual laborers. The smell... Haiz... My Uber income was less than Grab because I haven't mastered Surge, etc, but so much less headache, and majority of riders smell better, they know how to wear deodorant/perfume...

But at least now Grab riders not so smelly because those Uberians switch to Grab. But now DR suffering pulak...

i want to renew insurance, can just buy normal insurance?

i search for e-hailing insurance but cannot find, also coverage for passenger is gone now. or is it already include in basic insurance? can only find "Legal Liability of Passenger for Acts of Negligence Coverage"

The only long trip i will never ever considered in regardless of price is genting. However airport job is fine by me, so pls come to daddy.
