After you pick up a rider, slide the availability to off, when you've reached the destination and before you hit drop off button, slide the availability back on.
Remember! Do not forget to slide it back on before you hit drop off else your incentives will be prorated down.
*
You don't slide back available before you hit drop off still considered online la... Considered online until you hit dropoff. Want to slide available after dropoff also can.

So many times already if I want to go home after last job, I will be unavailable all the way home.

The most important thing is don't take too long to press drop-off. Grab will suspend you for that.

I've just checked the Uber rider app and I'm quite surprised their fares are more or less competent against Grab's.

Presint 14 to Alamanda:
Uber: RM6.40.
Grab: RM6.

Presint 14 to KLCC:
Uber: RM34.
Grab: RM32.

I would say overall, Grab drivers still have the upper hand here since they can know beforehand the destination of the rider and if you've opted in for abang sado, +2 for you. Anyway, that's still a nice improvement on Uber's part.
*
Uber you can choose your pick up distance bro. Most of the time, the estimated pick up distance is very accurate. If not accurate, can just cancel. Too many times already I kena with Grab, when ping come in, pick up distance very near, but when open Waze, damn far. But if you cancel, you kena tiao. And that day kena 19km job, but fare RM13 only. Grab use pembaris, then fixed fare some more.

I saw some posts on FB that Uber drivers also can get flagged for low acceptance. WHat is low acceptance threshold for Uber?
*
Flagged means what? Means will get less pings?

Sounds like a myth to me.

Uber right now is in no position to exclude some drivers from receiving pings.

My AR last week about 50% every day. Uber still throwing pings at me.

Now I'm waiting to see if Uber really give the incentives or not. Later I share my data.

flagged as in get warning to be suspended...like GRab style LOL. 50% OK lah considering like flexi...those get suspended must be super duper selective like AR<20%
*
O ya. My CR more than 20%. So total I only do about 30% of the pings I received.

Uber no care if you simply cancel? or really that many people in UBer no show/late?
*
They said calculating and verifying my incentives now. So wait and see.

But to answer your question, not that many no show la.. Just I see the location I don't like or mapren name, I cancel. I think a lot of Uber drivers also do that.

A friend of mine is on grab gold, she pays 320/week and the last time I spoke to her she said she was able to save about 2k a month which is decent imo and she doesn't have to pay for maintenance like us all do, so pound for pound grab gold rental is pretty good and you don't need to worry about wrecking own car. But i hear grab gold comes with heavy t&c so that's something to think about.
*
I heard maintenance free up to 100k km only.

320/week is quite cheap by market standard. That said the price is not too far off depending on the type of car u pick.Saving of 2k a month is fantastic already if thats the nett amount after deducting everything.

How to become grab gold then? I cant let go of uber though.
*
Read the T&C first man. If you want to return the car before the contract period ends, you need to pay the remaining rental.

If Grab bans your account halfway through the contract period, I also don't know what will happen. Probably they will tell you you still need to pay the rental. Then you will pening want to take it to court or not.

Plus, that almari FC is really bad. And free maintenance up to a certain mileage only I heard. After that you sendiri tanggung.

And I heard from my referrer, last time Grab promised priority booking for those who rent Almari from them, then they took that feature away. So you already know their style, they might change the T&C anytime they want. Be careful, man.

I understand the rationale of them doing that but this seriously screwing driver and rider badly. If within that 1km radius has many driver, yes that function is useful to prevent fraud and gaming.

I tried booking this morning going to work because car under repair, click job going bangsar, driver ignore my job, no choice has to change to nearest LRT station, immediately got match. A lot drivers start to ignoring enter KL due to their stupid system. Mind u from my house going to bangsar only take about 20-30min using NPE.

With the new apps, when searching for driver, u won't see driver name, it is the so called new system. I even tried Uber and i find their apps is so advance compare to Grab, can see a lot of driver profile, compliment and how many trips completed etc. But the drawback of Uber is harder to get ride. sweat.gif

Aiya.. I should have gone out to drive, haha..

guys what is partner service report under weekly driver feedback?
*
I'm wondering too. My logic is that passenger complained about your service. But fesbuk pipu said it is driver complained about rider/Grab, which doesn't make sense to me, because I feedback red unhappy face before but it didn't show up in my Feedback Report. Then that day I kena for the 1st time 1 Partner Service Report. But no fucking explanation. Grab give this kind of report for what also I don't know. No meaning.

Look at the way Uber give report. Makes much more sense, right?

For tonight session im sure most of the issues being highlighted has been made known to them already. Its the same issues with the same answer recycle over and over again.

They should act not just say we are working on the matter,we appreaciate ur feedback bla bla bla..so for me the session is just a lots of bs.its a pr stunt.
*
Yup. If they really care about our feedback, they will reach out to us, not the other way around. If CS really got write remarks, then all out feedback is there. It's just a matter of whether upper management wants to read it or not.

Teh tarik session is just a PR stunt.

Whatsapp.  You want to create one?
Complaint indeed.  My 1st partner service report half year ago complaining my driving pattern, could be I used to drive with one hand, like this also kena!  2nd service report I emailed to ask but the lazy ass cs said can't reveal any info... vmad.gif  Since then I don't give a damn whenever there were reports out there cuz dealing with brainless lazy cs really waste time only!  Useless company with brainless employees sending out meaningless driver weekly review without telling the issue and hoping drivers to guess and improve in no way, damn stupid!
*
Then how u know the passenger complained about your driving pattern?

Nowadays punya power steering not so sesuai la keep both hands on the steering wheel all the time. Get distracted a bit or arm cramp and accidentally pull the steering wheel, hailat lo. Better to just gently guide the steering wheel. Unless driving fast like sohai.

QUOTE(bojed @ Dec 20 2017, 09:36 AM)
Yesterday I requested Uber to go to Putrajaya Proton Service Center from Presint 14F. A driver accepted my request and I texted him the exact house number and he told me he was on the way. It was more than five minutes but I could see the driver didn't move one bit from Presint 14H so I waited until nearly 10 minutes than I cancelled the trip. The driver also asked me for my destination before hand and this really triggered me because I've never asked my riders' destination after accepting their requests. Maybe that is one of the reasons why my rating is 4.83 when I used to drive for Uber and if you used to drive for Uber, you know how hard it is to maintain 4.8 and above, unlike Grab.

This morning I checked my Uber rider app and I was charged with RM5 cancellation fee. What the hell Uber? I cancelled the request because the driver took so long to reach me and he didn't move from his spot. Furthermore the cancellation address was P14H, which was his location while I was waiting at P14F. These two are separated by a 1.3km road which can be covered in 3 minutes if you drive like an uncle. This driver also has a rating of 4.49, which is borderline low. My rating as an Uber rider is 5, because as a former Uber driver, I know which passengers I appreciate most so I try my best to emulate them.

I've made a report so I'll just wait and see. Hopefully Uber will reverse the fee to the driver instead of to me.
*
How u check your Uber rider rating bro? I don't know how to check mine.

Incentive in yesterday folks. No one commend crap fpr early credit? Lol
*
Commend what? I thought last time standard was Tuesday masuk wallet. Then they said wanna do 1 day banking la what la, then standard become Wednesday masuk wallet. So what's the point?

And have they mastered 1 day banking? So far I only experienced once I request for cash out then the next day money masuk bank. After that slow slow again.

And what's this, they want to do daily incentives cash out starting in January? Sure boh? 1 day banking also belum pandai, they want to promise this? Later got problems with incentives calculation, it will be epic.
