There was nothing said about leaving the bad ones to others. Hence the suggestion of the tab. Some people might like it, others don't. Just like going to the airport. Every driver is on their own, what burden is there to share? We are not working as a team or working for a corporation where your salary is paid regardless of what they throw at you.

Sharing a burden, does that mean if my car broke down, Grab or any driver out there would borrow me theirs so I can continue gaining income to support a family? Or would you/ the company borrow me some money if there were a major breakdown? At the end of the day, they provide you with a platform, it's up to you to interpret how you want to go about it.

But if Grab decides that GS will stay, then all drivers must share the burden. You can't just take all the good jobs, and leave all the bad ones to others.

Hey bro, below is my understanding. Dunno correct or not

new fare (gross) = base + per KM + per min
= 2 + (0.7 x 6.9) + (0.2 x 18)
= 2 + 4.83 + 3.6
= RM 10.43 <-- what user will pay. It's more or less the same as your current RM11 job assuming Grab historical data for that trip per KM and per min is correct. Highly doubt so 

new fare (nett) with AA = gross x 80%
= 10.43 x 0.8
= 8.344 round up to RM 8.34

From my understanding, Time Boost Bonus (TBB) will only kicks in if it is higher than nett fare. Example if the job is completed on different slot:

1) MP Slot (with AA)
= (3 + 15) x 0.6
= 10.8
TBB = 10.8 - 8.34 = RM 2.46
Driver take home = RM 10.8

2. UP Slot (with AA)
= (3 + 15) x 0.55
= 9.9
TBB = 9.9 - 8.34 = RM 1.56
Driver take home = RM 9.9

3. P Slot (with AA)
= (3 + 15) x 0.45
= 8.1
TBB = 8.1 - 8.34 = negative, so no bonus
Driver take home = RM 8.34

4. 'Empty' Slot (with AA) or non-AA
= (3 + 15) x 0.40
= 7.2
TBB = 7.2 - 8.34 = negative, so no bonus
Driver take home = RM 8.34

But of course, real life scenario for the same trip above on MP slot will takes longer and the gross fare it self will be different and higher.

Changes in incentive scheme is a small issue.
The bigger issue is MOT regulations. Why nobody wants to protest against them?

Ya, I find the new scheme quite fair to all the drivers, no more hiding for short trips in MP/UP to get easy money while other non HG drivers works like cow to bare the lousy far jamming jobs that may get lesser reward. Sorry to say Im a HG driver too every weeks only paid <5% or sometimes even negative commissions against the incentives.

Works and earn what u deserves guys...another advantage of this new scheme are u no need to intensively hold the whole UP/MP online hour and drive with more mind free. Plus the bonus will directly credited into your cash wallet, no more wait next working day evening to get the pay out. :thumbsup:

This job took me at least 25min to complete, no boost or whatever. It should be at least net RM13-14 based on UP slot calculation.

That’s how crap manipulate the calculation and screw u alive, in fact my earning has reduce compare to the old time

So it is not a level playing, but taxi drivers have advantages.

You guys complain 9 9 about Grab, but I haven't heard you complaining about MoT?

The only solution Is to do what the grab food boys did... Instant results within 24hrs. What else can you do when crappy staff suffers from the deaf, dumb and blind syndrome?

Why not go all in? 1 or 2 hours isn’t going to make a dent. Go for one whole day and if not one whole week or one whole month. That will surely cripple grab and they’ll have to listen to your demands. Or doing that will cripple the drivers too that’s why only can do for 1 or 2 hours?

Oo so you don’t really want to demand Grab to do anything and instead just want to prove a point? Stop one hour to show grab that they mess with drivers then you can cripple their operations if you want to? Show them who’s the real boss here and give them a warning? Good luck bro if that’s the case. If all these mini ‘show of protest’ actually worked you drivers will not be in such a sad state now isn’t it?
