Anyone can confirm this? I have experienced once like Monday-Thursday i have cancelled many trips due to no show and then Friday the option "passenger no show" not appear at all even though after 5 minutes waiting. Only those "cancellation will affect rate"

To each his own. In any business relationship you don't expect one party to have undue advantage over the other. Grab offer a chance to earn a living by putting in effort to actually drive and not gaming to secure only 3 RM 5 trips to earn the HG incentives.

To be honest, although I was on the HG scheme before, but for the past 2-3 weeks I havent't been able to collect enough incentives to cover my costs. More often than not, my collected fares exceeded my incentives by a country mile. So I think this new change will not have that much impact on me although RM10 incentive means "free" RM50 for your next fare collection.

Anyway, is there is a difference whether I turn AA on or not because I very seldom drive between 8am-9am and 5pm-8pm?

By the way, something really surprised me this evening. One MyCar fellow received a trip request from Mont Kiara to KLIA for RM77. I thought it's only RM59 flat rate for them?

Every week, the incentive I earn from a daily drive is never enough to cover the excessive commission, that's because during the weekend if momentum comes, I earn more than the incentive. In other words, weekday drive is to build incentive for 8 hours weekend drive. Only if there is a public holiday, my incentive is more. Long rides are lower petrol but tyre lose thread faster. Short rides are higher petrol and brake pads maintenance. If you get stuck in a jam, you are going to enjoy the best of those both worlds 

So yesterday I made a total of RM75 nett in 2 hours. Look great but I used a quarter tank (~RM 15). Normally I would get around RM 80-90 gross in 2 hours with maybe 1/6th of the petrol. This sum is also because I was lucky to get a few nice pings. If it was all shorter trips, would be quite bad. This reminded me the first time I drove, and when I look back at the statistics, the cost was so high to just go all out

Uber started with RM75, then followed Grab at RM65.

For KLIA trips, coming from South KL is still ok. Coming from North KL not worth it. On Friday evening, from North KL to airport could easily take 2 hours.

2 weeks ago, I picked up a guy at Jalan Ipoh. He wanted to go KLIA, but chose to be dropped off at KL Sentral. From there he took train to the airport.
