This move from MOT will only make things worse for FT drivers like me.
Luckily I still have my side business. Might have to put more effort into it from now on.

QUOTE(Versy_CK @ Jul 11 2018, 07:43 PM) Roughly summarizing MOT's announcement.. Fuck off la with this shit.requirement for e-hailing part: (annually) - PSV = RM115 - General medical checkup (cost?) - Insurance cover note including passengers (cost?) - Puspakom = RM55 (for cars registered to JPJ after 3 years and above, less than 3 years no need Puspakom check) - 6-hour briefing/lecture = RM200 (attend at selected driving institutes or mana mana badan yg dipilih oleh JPJ.. compulsory) Good news: - commission from e-hailing capped at max 20% - riders need to have valid ID (NRIC/Passport) during registration. - e-hailing companies need to address issues brought up in the Driver's Tribunal (monitored by government) Bad news: - surging multiplier capped at x2.. no more granddaddy shark No mention, sosco & kwsp part... Grace period of one year (from 12/07/2018) for e-hailing companies to abid the new laws Better drive taxi like this. |

QUOTE(lznce2679 @ Jul 11 2018, 11:31 PM) E-Hailing Regulations Why do I feel like we're going to receive more pile of shit after reading this π€£Dear Driver-Partner, You may have heard or read by now about the announcement from the Minister of Transport, YB Anthony Loke, that e-hailing drivers will be regulated under the same licensing conditions similar to taxis, effective tomorrow. We understand and are fully aware that you have many questions, concerns and uncertainties as this may affect your welfare, which has and will always be a priority to us at Grab. You are an important part of the Grab family and a backbone of our community in helping us provide the critical service of transporting millions in Malaysia safely and reliably to their destinations. We would like to assure you that we are seeking to engage YB Anthony Loke and his team in open dialogue to clarify, understand and smoothen out the details of the new regulations introduced, in order to help you. Our commitment to you is this: we will do all that we can to ensure a level playing field, and to ensure minimal impact to you. We will do our best to assist you through any necessary transition in time to come. Meanwhile, rest assured, drive safe and stay tuned for more information. Sincerely, Grab |

Wow guys I suddenly can't login to my Grab account although I went online 11am-1.30pm with no problem today.
My insurance will expire this midnight and I have renewed it this morning. I was about to send the covernote just now via the app when suddenly I was logged out and couldn't login back again π₯ This post has been edited by bojed: Jul 12 2018, 02:26 PM |

QUOTE(cktang @ Jul 17 2018, 12:09 PM) There are constant polis road block at serdang perdana road from novelle hotel, enter bukit serdang road from astro, serdang raya road behind shell station to catch illegal workers. Most of the no passport foreigners scare to go out, even some kopitiam cannot do business because their workers have to "take leave" takut kena serbu. Have to go sri petaling, pj area to cari makan during last weekend, else only can get a few local ikan bilis trip in kampung baru serdang or upm student in sri serdang area. Adoi no wonder la.Thank you xifu. |

Today is such a stressful day for me la.
I had to cancel 4-5 pings because of crazy pickup distance 7-8km. The thing is most of those pings came in exactly after I went pass junctions. Let's say I meet a T-junction and I go to the left. 2-3 seconds later a ping comes in and shows pickup distance is 3km. After I accpet it, the pickup distance becomes 7-8km. Had I turned right at the junction in the first place, I only have to travel 2-3km. This was literally the story of my day, repeat and rinse 4-5 times. I also picked up one lenglui in Mutiara Damansara. She wanted to go to the Mutiara MRT station. I asked her should I go straigh or make a U-turn from her apartment? She said go straight. Bam! RM5 for 4.3km? There must be something wrong with Grab's calculation I thought. Turns out, the path that we took made a freaking huge U-turn all the way back across her apartment! Had I followed my hunch and just make a U-turn in front of her apartment, it would've only taken me 1.1km to send this pretty-but-useless-piece-of-kayu-princess to her destination π€πΏπΉπβ οΈ Moral.of the story: think with your brain, not with your dick. |

QUOTE(CarrotMilk7517 @ Jul 18 2018, 03:21 AM) It's proven that if you make a complaint, DR will drop. Crapcar really didn't concern about driver at all. What they want is no complaints from you, make more money for them. You die you punya hal. Past 2 weeks my DR no increase even though most of my passengers say will give me 5 star.Β πΒ Received email state 91% is rate 5 star but DR remain. Last week make complaints to CS my DR dropping. Today did the same things and my DR is - 0.01. Yesterday I complained about one rider.Today my DR is 4.97. Yesterday it was 4.96 π± Anybody else received SMS from Grab saying you're not using the updated version of the driver's app? I clicked on this link that was given in the SMS https://www.grab.com/my/blog/driver/blocklogin/ . I couldn't find any update in there but the page warns drivers about misconducts. After I have read the whole thing, only then I can access the driver's app. I guess our phones belong to Grab now ya π This post has been edited by bojed: Jul 18 2018, 05:30 AM |
