My DR from .96 to .78 in 2week, reflecting unsatisfactory riders soared. Lately increasingly >15min to PuP & riders complaining hard to book. For those >20min booking will be DaX, if not PaX.

Other than Known Suspects, I strongly suspected Grab might systematically derail for specific reasons!

Both moosekaka & keatwei brought out valid points at different scenario.

My first observation on DR dropping consistently happened around 25 Dec 2017 to 5 Jan 2018 then recurrence in March 2018. The same phenomenon happened to many Drivers at these periods but not other time frame.

This morning my cancellation 50%๐Ÿ˜
Whole of this week Completed 40%, Cancellation 40%, Ignored 20% ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ

15~30min pickup distance, full of angry riders.
Worst was a GS, 6km to DoP & a Matched Passenger @ 6km away. Imagin 6km to PuP, 6km returning to the point when ping, 6km to DoP totaling 18km. Worse was the 2nd Rider DoP far apart!

Riders suggesting that GrabUber taking advantage of the monopoly.

Right now Iโ€™m stuck at Jalan Parliament Roundabout for 20min unmoved. This week in KL Central, Police blocking roads & isolated extreme traffic.

Today, many riders complaining recurrence of super far Grab Car bookings this week & many Cancellations (PaX + DaX). I strongly suspected the System glitch again.

Same for mine.
Driver v1.23.0 for iOS just updated.

1st booking pressed pick up but the System kept โ€œConnectingโ€. Rebooted but could not sign in that could be interphase issue between Digi-Grab. Luckily not far form home & signed in via WiFi connection.

Foresaw Driver app hiccups on the way ๐Ÿ˜ก

1. Outsourcing to expert like HereWeGone, no one could pinpoint Grab but the Map Operator.
2. Great Salesmanship from Here with full of promise but Grab could not run away from its responsibility.

1. Nearest Yardstick - from Petronas Bandar Tasik Selatan to TBS Main Lobby is 600m Displacement but 9.8km Route with Extreme Traffic most of the time.

2. Anti-Modified App - Riders seeing many Empty GrabCar at Sight but System Assigning to Super-far Driver.

I think the above scenario is within reach of Grab Management.

1Q2018 gone & April-fool no sign of improvement.

Morning 8~11am, completed 8 Jobs with 10 Cancellations & 2 Ignored. All PuP above 4km with 10min+ at smooth traffic. 3x No Show & many wrong PuP location. The worst was PuP at Cheras batu 11 where Rider at Berjaya Time Square ๐Ÿ˜

1. 1st Ping at 6am, PuP located 5km where at least 10x GC nearby within 1km radius indicated on Rider App.
2. 2nd Rider was annoyed waited 25min (no booking confirmation) when my arrival even though it took me 5min to reach PuP.

I used to blame Grab System but the above phenomenon highly caused by Fexi-Driver not accepting <RM10 pings. Should such situation prolong, 30% AR could be the culprit๐Ÿค”

Weekly 85% still can play with incentive but daily 80% is challenging.

I wonder Grab radius based on current position instead of DoP that complicates more.

Yes. Especially MP block with heavy downpour, extreme traffic & far away PuP. Some compensation for HG but tougher for Flexi. There seems no surge or pricing adjustment, yet lowered prices occasionally.
