True, if economy is good, people won't be looking for the lowest price and won't mine spend a bit more. I use to not care about petrol cards and loyalty points but now every ringgit and sens count.

you can actually ask the salespeople not to follow you. they do that cause maybe you need help or advice, thats why they are there, to sell.
