Does CIMB entertain request for waiver of annual RM25 SST?

I called to convert my cash rebate cc to e-credit cc.

Around that duration. Actually there was an issue earlier and they resubmitted it for me again, for this resubmission only took 2 working days and it’s approved.

I guess the branch forgot to submit until I followed up.
Resubmission appears immediately on CCRIS after it’s submitted.

“Tuition fees” paid to CIMB.
I love this card so much even with the hefty AF (will be waived for my case), it’s still super worthy. I will only focus with this card for this one whole year.

Doubt the CIMB website missed any of its own product benefits ... haha... if you've read all of it, then I doubt I could tell you anything more.

Personally, I have already used the FlexiRoam SIM to get online the moment I land overseas (worth maybe rm15), as well as the airport lounge privilege (which is surprisingly limited use), and I believe all CIMB cards allow you to get a year of FoodPanda Pro membership (which sometimes is on offer for RM0.99 anyway).

I don't use the rm65 Grabcar perk because it's low value, conditional, and only given once a quarter (!!). It's better to use Citi PM and SCB WM travel cards for those.

Can't believe CIMB devalues it's own MC WE customers with all these cheap perks (as well as having its own entry level card that actually gives higher points that it's highest-tier MC card...)

Based on someone I know, he shared it took him 4-5 days to be reflected for Eva.
And he requires to fill in tonnes of forms, so the experience not exactly too pleasant.
Yet, it doesn’t happen to everyone. So, I will just do it for all cases without risking my bonus points.

Surprisingly I didn't receive any SMS regarding this and I have got the card earlier than you and have fulfilled on day 1 it seems.
Can you share the content of the SMS so that I can check from my phone?

CS just called me to give me an update. He guarantees that I will get the welcome bonus which will be credited only 16 weeks later.

Also, I will get AF waiver for my CIMB TWE around March.

That SMS is for the sign up cash back not AF waiver though.

I have both and for M2P, I will only spend to achieve 80k AF waiver. That’s for this year, next year I will focus on M2P only if CIMB is not extending the promo. I keep M2P because I’m a KF fan and CIMB doesn’t have KF program.

I applied TWE because it’s RM 1 for 1 mile. This simple reason. The Marriot stays is a bonus for me.
Yes, same here. If it doesn’t extend its promo, I will stop using it in year 2. For this whole year I will focus almost exclusively for airmiles only, with TWE.
