I have friends who got their waivers, but they were new to bank clients so they qualify for annual fee waiver after RM3000 spend after many rounds of calling and chasing.

however got friends who applied for TWE as an existing CIMB client and have exceed the 240k spend but apparently this only qualifies you for next year waiver and the upfront annual charge would not be waived.

A lot of complains on referral bonuses not being credited as well. Wondering if anyone is facing the same issue. thanks

all flights is via MAS. Tax is all the same.

Even with enrich saver, Avios is still cheaper on ICN route.

Business class also slightly cheaper compare to EM.

the only thing pain in ass is that sometimes the availability is extremely limited.

your case is 23 Dec, so AF will get charged on 23 Dec this year

of course cancel the card before AF is charged lah, right? what's the point cancelling after AF is charged (which is not your question is).
I'd say, cancel the card by end Nov instead. save you all the trouble knowing SST and AF will be charged the following month.

not to forget bank may forgot/delayed the cancellation too. so, give them some buffer time to process the card cancellation.
p/s: assuming no cb pending crediting.

since u gonna spend on 20 Dec, cb will be on January already (unless u aren't spending for cb). by then, af already charged on 23 Dec.
