Recently received my RM500 from the acquisition campaign. Do I still need to pay my statement balance? (Currently the balance is negative)

For CIMB, cashback is not considered a part of payment, but not sure on the free gift.
It is better you pay statement balance to avoid late payment penalty and interest.

for cashback, CIMB doesnt tag it as "payment". for acquisition reward, no idea.

better recheck with CS; else, just pay the statement balance as usual. the rm500 will offset your next statement anyway (less headache to deal later with CS if interest got charged).

pay by next due date

your rm1900+ payment already cleared the current statement balance = rm1884 (due date 10 Dec, statement date 20 Nov)

left over balance rm717.54 is unbilled, until it get statement-ed @ 20 Dec (i guess your statement date) ... then pay the new statement balance by new due date 9 Jan 2020.

That one is few months ago... I think ended already.

After so many weeks of winning extra entries, today all 3 spins give

called CIMB try to get rebate for SST rm25 but failed to get it.

customer service said CIMB no give SST rebate or SST waive or any campaign like spend 500 get 25 rebate.

anyone has success story to get sst rebate?
