Hi all. I had changed my battery since June of 2016. until today, around 6pm, When i turned off my car, and then sit in the car a while before i want to start back. The first thing it happen is i cant start my car, when i try to start, i spin my keys, nothing on my dashboard ( no lights on), and then no crancking, no kri kir kri, nothing.

And then i try to use key alarm to lock my door, it dont work. And then I take my compact k car to jump start my inspira, it does have dashboard lights and kri kri sound when i try to start, but still failed to jump start, mayb due to ns40 trying to jump start a ns60? I dont know.

After that, i changed ns40 to my inspira, and then start, and put back ns60 and drive back home. while driving, i tried to highlight, the warning of release handbrake kicks in, and tried second time, the abs service failure kicked in.

And after turn off my car, i cant turn it on again, again dashboard no lights.

Most importantly, my car is running on dry cell, maintenance free, BUT the indicator at the battery still green in colour, not like my k car, when the battery almoz die, the colour gone and become dark.

May i know any sifu can enlighten my path?

Question 1 : Is my car battery dead?

Q 2 : Unplug my ns60, and borrow ns40 to start it, will it cause any problem?

Q 3 : my car didnt die when i hold the positive and negative ends when removing ns40, and put back ns60 after engine running, does this means my alternator is ok?

I just came bac from Genting. First time driving there in 5 years ownership. A bit underpowered. Especially if you have to brake, then must either slow down some more and change to 1st or wait long long to pick up speed at 2nd gear.

Underpowered but good enough to outperform myvi. But no match against cx5, cannot keep up. I also saw a c200 going very slow. Not sure no power or just taking it easy.

Just wondering, other than the famed Master clutch cylinder issue, is there anything i should be aware of?

After using the car for 2 years (80,000km), the damage so far.

Essential:

Mitsubishi Fully Syn 5w40 Minyak + Oil filter + Labour (8 times) = RM 1,200
Viking 18' Donuts x 4 pcs = RM 1,150
Century car battery = RM 300
Ori Aircon blower + DIY = RM 380
CVT filter set + Jepun DiaQueen J1 oil + labour = RM 1,000 (Taobao china filter set)
Alternator belt + tensioner + idle pulley set + labour = RM 400 (Taobao china set. Last for 10 months only)
New mitsuboshi alternator belt = RM 160
New ori tensioner + labour = RM 420
New ori alternator over running pulley + labour = RM 430


Non essential (But force to change)

GAP hi-lo hard soft absorber with bracket + misc = RM 3,500

[B]Total damage = RM 9,020[/B]

Out of this $9020, $4,430 (items in red font) should have been avoided if (a) knowledgeable technician is available, (b) buy only ori parts

I've never changed my 9 Yrs old manual Saga blm master/slave cylinder before...

my guess is the wear and tear is more as the clutch size increases?

Damn... i think i should start anticipating it to fail. Probably my aggressive driving made the parts level up. lol

Joke aside, normally how long this wear and tear cylinder part can last before it requires replacement? Tqvm

guys, was the fake lancer clutch suppose to be like a sponge???

i was totally surprise when i press on it. when i switch back to my blm, i felt like stepping on a farking rock.

the handbrake button sinked into the hole, i think this wasnt normal right?

and the gear stick was a short shifting type??

Inspira stock bump stopper is made in Germany?

normally i asked price first only proceed with the job.
check the service record. see when is the date of last service and the current mileage when you see the car. mileage can be changed though...
