If u didn't bring brake oil.. They charge very Kau on brake oil.. Easily 40-50
Steering oil.. Workmanship max 30
Again if u no bring oil.. Easily 50
Confirmed chopped.

Brake oil.. Bosch Rm20 for 1L.. Good enough for 2-3 cars
Steering oil.. Good one rm50-60.

Workmanship I says 80 for both quite reasonable

I bought a OEM part for it and my workshop guy says the size is totally different. Told the sparepart shop guy and they are equally surprised. they say should be the same... :swt:

i would say the weakest link for the car is the stupid CVT gearbox.

it simply shit.

if has typical AMT it would be wayyyyy better.

if the FD2 is 40K, i would buy that shit in a heartbeat

Let me just tell u a little secret to take care of the clutch pump..
Most of the old farts here do that and no issue.. Some done 300k ++ km d.. Without issue..

The fact is.. That the clutch pump is using brake fluid from the brake reservor.. Brake oil gets dirty overtime.. Dirt sips in etc. These dirty fluid goes into ur clutch pump will kill it. Coz dust.. Fine particle cause friction and damage seals..

The solution.. Flush ur brake oil every year.. Flush.. Not top up...
Many of us doing that and no complain on clutch issue.

So, just to share, just claimed warranty again on the lower clutch cylinder for the 2nd time at 38k mileage (1st one was 14k mileage)

Asked the service centre why, they say during the first time I claim, they gave me the older model clutch cylinder which is prone to premature failure, now they give me the updated model which should last as long as follow service schedule do brake fluid flush every 40k.

Don't know whether they making up story or not

Anyway how much brake fluid is required when do flushing? According to manual its 2L but just like the engine oil, the manual says need to pay for 5 litre but actually only use 4.3l max, the leftover they sapu. So just wanna know actual fact brake fluid is it really need 2litre?

They just say the rubber material is different. True or not I don't know.

Mitsu original premixed long life coolant is RM50 for 4 litres. You need around 7 litres for full change.

If you buy generic coolant and mix it yourself then it's much cheaper.

With that price, surely they're not using Mitsu one.

Alright, Turned out to be clutch pump's issue. Changed to a new clutch pump and now its up and running again.

Would like to thanks to Jacky (one of the first Lyn inspira test rat  ) for guiding me where to source parts and stuff  Would share the infos here if anyone needs it

However, after 2 weeks into it, i realize the clutch got its own mood one. Sometimes it get a bit soft, and sometimes a bit harder (Basically inconsistent pressure lar)

No leak was detected. However, there is one thing i did not do alongside with the clutch flush. The brake. I did not ask the mech to flush them brake lines.

So based on everyone's experience. Just wanted to confirm if your clutch pedal pressure changes occasionally? Was it even normal in the first place?

2 cabin filter - RM15 each
1 engine oil filter - RM15 each

decided to continue get scam by proton in case need to claim clutch pump warranty again, so not using the above in the near future
