Hi guys. Just wondering for those who have moved on from their Inspira, what did you move on to? I've been a happy owner of a 2013 2.0P since new but butt itchy to change to something else. I've been to see the Accord and Camry but both are due for replacement. Even the Honda salesman was saying I should wait. Also test drove the Passat 2.0 and while it is a very nice car to be in and to drive, its a VW so there's reliability questions. Also, for a fat fella like me, the seats are a little too sporty.

Actually thought of moving on to Jap C-segment but dont like the Civic and the Altis is old plus its torsion beam suspension at the back which even our Inspira is multi-link. VW C-segment also not interesting and mostly are the 7 speed dry clutch variety.

Your thoughts?

Ya man, 4th year itch I guess. Hahahaha. Looking for ideas on what cars to move on to. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif Any thoughts on the Hyundai Sonata? Actually looks quite nice from the outside, a little plain on the inside. Its also Korean (are they any good?) and probably due for replacement too. I guess my dreams have to put on hold till next year when all the new cars are launched.

On a more Inspira related topic. Any recommendation on tyre shops? Mine's due for a change. Currently on 215/50R17 Michelin PS3s. Was thinking the PS4 and been quoted RM530 per piece before GST. Also checked out the Bridgestone Potenza RE003, cheapest I found was in Klang on promo @ RM395 per piece before GST. Most other shops though are at about RM480/piece before GST.

One of the shops I asked (Bridgestone shop) said her personal experience with the RE003 was its damned good in the dry, not so much in the wet and super noisy.

Move on to any car with better face value... since you have been 'face-less' for 4 year, this time please think wisely before making your final decision lol whistling.gif

That's why la. I thought can get good year end deals mana tau those cars I'm looking at not so good deals. Anyway, yes, I reckon in the next month or so it will be properly botak already.

From MC5 to PS3, I would say similar. Maybe the PS3 is slightly quieter but performance definitely the Michelins wins over the Continentals. Spoke to a few friends about Bridgestone vs Michelin, basically the same as what the shop lady said, the Bridgestones are damned noisy. Most of the friends I spoke to change away from Bridgestone not because of performance, but noise.

Ok what. My first car was a used Iswara. After that new Waja CPS then now new Inspira. All 3 cars served me well. In fact, if I didnt get rear-ended by an XC90 in the Waja, I may still be driving it.

Yes la, face problem la. But who cares? Wallet's health important wei......that is until you start paying for maintenance la. Hahahahahaha biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Any thoughts on Toyo tires? I'm planning to change to 17" rims once the original ones either go botak or expire about August next year... Planning to get 225/50R17...
