Not sure how urgent you need your phone charged. For me I charge my phone nightly overnight. So in fact, I prefer the stock charger as it charges the phone gently. There is no heat and once battery is full, charging is switched off automatically by the stock charger. This way, my phone battery is 100% in the morning and I prolong the battery life by doing slow gentle charging. I don't see the need to fast charge till I have to spend additional hundreds of ringgit for it to get minutes faster.

I am also not into the wireless charging only occasionally charging it in my car's Qi Wireless when battery is low which rarely happens. Wireless charging over long run is not good as it generates more heat to the battery and the electromagnetic wave similar to induction from the wireless charging is not good for the circuitry and componentry in the phone.

Thing is I dont like to charge my phone overnight, ppl saying that there is auto cut off for charging but I dont think thats the case, previously my iPhone 5 battery got damaged due to everyday overnight charging, whilst my 7+ I rarely (maybe once in a month) I will charge overnight only, check the battery capacity after 9 months still 100% not even degenerate or reduce capacity by a little bit). So I still dont practice overnight charging so fast charging might be a better soluton but dem price for fast charger  rclxub.gif
*
But fast charging might degenerate your battery at a rate similar to overnight slow charging if the fast charging is causing heated battery.

Im feeling the latest update did not make my phone smoother. Feel laggy and kinda disappointed now.
*
Yes, I am having the same experienced. Feels like the 11.2 is not as optimised as 11.1.2

Opening apps are now slower. At times, I even feels my cellular data is slower.

Good enough on its own, but still behind in SQ when adding a DAC/AMP into the chain wink.gif

Thanks for replying, I'm lazy to lug around so many devices when on the go, guess I'll stick to my wireless setup smile.gif

I have QC35 and Momentum 2 Wireless, if you want brighter sound = QC35, if you want warmer and nice vocal = Momentum 2 Wireless. The other models, I cannot comment.

I use Amazon Prime video a lot in Japan so when i see the home bar keeps lighting up in landscape mose i am so afraid that the oled would have burn ins.
*
For me, the bar would disappear after a few seconds. Maybe Amazon Prime is not optimised for ipX yet.

Nowadays I also dont pester you already didnt you notice?  tongue.gif

I think I would have to buy the X Plus when it comes out.  The X's screen is smaller to my 7+. rclxub.gif
*
Was a 7 Plus user too. Actually screen smaller by not much. For me, only noticeable when watching videos. However, the smaller footprint has overall more advantage to me, more pocketable, more comfortable to hold and especially one hand operation. So the pro outweigh the cons. thumbsup.gif

Go for it attw! thumbup.gif thumbup.gif thumbup.gif
If next year comes the iPhone X Plus, we shall all go for the X Plus as well thumbsup.gif thumbsup.gif thumbsup.gif

Do anyone of u facing such thing where after u finish ur call, u were unable to tap the end call button?

Scenario like this
1. Ur phone ring
2. U answer and face ur phone screen to ur ear
3. U said “bye bye” and face ur phone to ur face (this is the stage where u got to tap the red end call button)
4. U have to tap the screen multiple times only u are able to click the red button. The screen is dark while u are tapping the screen

Hope my scenario can make my question clear 😅

Full coverage Tempered Glass with black edges tends to cause this when not installed properly aligned.

Hi, I know many of you are using the Hoda clear screen protector but mine didn’t turn out well...I been seeing scratch marks on my iPhone X screen...sadly. Initially was thinking it’s just smudge or stain but look closely it’s not. Shouldn’t it be anti scratch? I would never purposely scrap this but somehow it does happened. Now I’m thinking if this is a good product to use.
*
I'm using the exact same TG, so far no such issue but just after a week, been seeing more fingerprint left on the screen. I thought it was supposed to be oleophobic or something that inhibit fingerprint but very fast wear off. But nothing too serious, a simple wipe will bring back the screen to its luster.

the oleophobic coating usually have 3 months life span but ur case looks like the oleophobic coating fading off quite fast

Maybe because I wipe it at least twice a day using wet towel. Can't stand smudges on screens doh.gif

My other bigger problem is with using Ringke Fusion, at the back there is this bubble effect or some call it water effect seen in between the back of the phone and the Ringke Fusion itself as show in below picture. I worry, if left as such over a longer period, it will leave permanent mark on the phone's back.

Anyone using Ringke Fusion having the same problem? Any tips or possible to prevent it?

Are those using Spigen Ultra Hybrid facing those same issue as well? Thinking to buy the Spigen if it does not have this issue.

Hope the pic explain better if not you need to zoom in as it’s glass screen so the reflection is hard to see 😅
*
Well, even for Hoda, it will still get scratched if it is subject to knock / friction on its surface. At least it protected your phone screen itself.

Are you sure the smudge is on the surface of the TG? Can you feel it when you run your fingers over it? Can it be wiped away? Did you remember ever knocking / scratch that area of your phone? Maybe when its in pocket / purse?

If the smudge is not on the surface, then I highly suspect it was caused by improper installation of the TG. Maybe the inner side of the TG had been touched somehow. Lifting it and applying some cellophane tape may remove those smudge but expertise needed to do it properly and not damage the TG.

Anyone here noticed iPhone X wifi is slower? I had iphone 7 plus and after many rounds of speed test, it's confirmed to be always slower...

Tried connecting on same wifi network and also to Maxis cellular same issue. iPhone X always had slower connection. She also noticed this on day to day use....
*
I only noticed Wifi and Cellular data both slowed a little after I've updated to iOS 11.2 before I was on iOS 11.1.2 and it was fine.

I also have iPhone 7 Plus and both my iphone 7 Plus and iPhone X being Intel chipped, should have identical speed. It was so when its running iOS 11.1.2 but became slower after iOS 11.2

Hmmm...my iphone 7 plus was also on latest 11.2 public but had no issue, unless it could be due to different model.
*
Hmm...I am not sure about that and haven't used my iPhone 7 Plus ever since I have my iPhone X. But the moment I upgraded to iOS 11.2 in my iPhone X, I immediately felt the lag / slowdown. It is quite pronounced. So I suspect its rather the iOS not optimised issue rather than hardware itself. Was very fast and snappy before. I even noticed all pictures appear instantly at the same time when I open my email. It is just not like that anymore. Sometimes I see white screen for a while before content appears. doh.gif

You can take a look at UAG cases, pretty good as well. I'm using one myself.

I thought the UAG would be a tad bulkier no?

They have slim cases as well.  Their bulkier version is not as bulky as Spigen's tough armor to be honest. I'm using the Pathfinder series, it doesn't add much weight to it and offers more protection. It's all up to your personal preference actually.
*
Thanks for suggesting bro but I’ve just paid Sakurazz for the Spigen to be shipped to me. Will see how the Spigen goes first. 😊

No it's the buttons I'm talking about...I spent an hour doing some testing (OCD kicking in lol).

Very weird outcome... 2 same phone and same casing, but side button (power button), one feels very normal and clicks when I press...another one doesn't feel much and less clicky.

However when I remove both phones bare without casing, but buttons work exactly the same (clicks and normal)

Put back casings on and swap casing, but my button still doesn't Have the clicky feel....(very light sound when pressed and doesn't feel the button as much)

Sighs  dry.gif
*
Means the casing are not consistently made. Nothing to do with the phone. May I know what casing is that?
