Buying Advice Looking for Digital SLR, Recommendation?

These are the specs im looking for, * 8x optical zoom * 2.5" LCD display * 7 megapixel or higher * Any brands Well, the truth is, my budget is around RM1000-1300 Any recommendations of which i should take? I know that my budget is a little low or what  So, just give me some reviews about this matter Thanks

no such digital SLR at that price. you don't use 8x optical zoom for DSLR either.  set your budget to at least RM 2k for a decent USED unit. 3k if you wish to get NEW unit.

dang My bad on the 8x optical zoom What should it be? 'USED' unit for 2k? If it's 3k for a new set, it would be high freaking end I just need a simple and easy to use digital SLR

DSLR for 1k? with 8X optical zoom? wow.......i regretted buying my D40 XD maybe you want to buy a prosumer instead? S3 IS?

the last time i keep up with the photography news, nikon d40 was the cheapest among the entry level dslr. take a look at this model

Ohh... But isn't Nikon D40 is kinda rare now? I couldn't find it at my place here in Kuantan Anyone knows where i can get them near me? or KL?

a D40 also cost u RM2k, how u gonna afford it with that budget?
Maybe u can think of Nikon P5000

i think u better go for prosumer than next time when u think u need a higher end then go for DSLR i think fuji s6500 or 9600 is u can effort is better i think 28mm wide angle and hot shoe is much better 6500 around 1300 and 9600 around 1700-1800 is around ur budget 9600 give u hotshoe so u can use flash gun next time

hihi, maybe u can consider the Sony H5, i'm selling off mine secondhand... but its not a DSLR, but fits your requirements....
