Cengal is the darkest from your selection, but there has no texture like walnut. Usually, the greater the texture has, the softer the wood.

Yes, you can walk in but mostly need to order 1st and come again collect when the wood is ready.

hi sifu, any way to treat powder post beetle... bought a merbau live edge slab previously but the edge keep on bore by beetle, i had tried borax solution but not work. any solution?

Hi, the "white part" of merbau (usually outer edge, depend on size, can deep as 2 inches diameter) is the softer part, and it will be vanished overtime, it is nothing to stop it. The center part of merbau is hardest, and the boring service will end there. It is nothing much can do about it. Somemore, too much chemical will hurt the slab later.

I suggest to buy fast if you need 1, because wood price keep increasing !

Any recommendations for a solid wood table top for standing desk? Measurements around 75cm (w) x 140cm(L) x 1.5cm~1.8cm. Since the standing desk frame has motor that support about 120kg , the wood slab cannot be too heavy.

Unfortunately we dont supply ready made door frame and leafs, instead, we only supply raw wood plank at the moment.

The web look clean and professional. Saw this shop many months ago in FB advertising, look like a subsidiary company from a door frame factory. Their idea is fresh and look promising !

just made a few for clients. in the market these stand tables with solid wood too basic choices. either rubber wood panel with stain or some cheap slab wood cut to size.

what we do is something diff , and usually offered by higher end stand desk makers in usa (usually they offer walnut maple etc, usd2k level)

but i try mix local and imported wood.

sure boss.. put aside some 1x5 planks (natural dry 1year ).. later u if wanna make 6-7ft rectangle dining table, i can process the top for u...yellow balau is difficult and hard wood.. but finally have enough skill to process it without spending too much time on it.

Got the "Meja" from them, nice finishing and overall satisfied. Wood is from Rubber tree hence a bit soft and easily dented but since I don't really abuse my desk its fine.
Would be nice if more factory do something like this.
