Here sooner will have the LTE-A or 4G+, Telcos are upgrading the infra , city centre. But my RN4 does not support it due to U Mobile using intraband only, Celcom , Maxis supports both intraband an interband. Redmi 5 Plus supports both ? |

QUOTE(Benefon @ Jan 16 2018, 10:02 AM) Starhub has 4G+ offer ? Or your the phone no supports ?As the mobile technology moving forward , the industry and telco standard does not care whether we all really need it or not for now but sooner or later. Other countries already testing 5G. |

My mix 2 and all Xiaomi phones didn't seen 4G+ before in SG.As the mobile technology moving forward , the industry and telco standard does not care whether we all really need it or not for now but sooner or later. Other countries already testing 5G. But as long the speed up there. In MY they can do better but most of the time and some area may not offer with 4G service.. Because Xiaomi lower end phone doesn't comes with intrerband carrier aggregation support but only intraband so that's why you won't get LTE-A in Malaysia as all carrier using interband carrier aggregation. |

I've spent some time reading the Unlocking Bootloader FAQ and I realized this is one hell of a tedious process.
I think I will have to pay a little more Anyway, I still learnt a lot of things from you guys and understood why the hell Xiaomi lock their bootloader. Thank you very much for those who have taken your precious time to teach and explain to me all about flashing the phone. I truly appreciates that big respect to you guys! |

It should work properly on 4G+ properly in Malaysia. |

Not straight forward for unlock ur phone as recently , miui developer they try to protect on china rom. Just now bring my another mi mix 2 to shop for unlock and flash from China to global and pay for $30 SGD But you may wait for after 72hours complete unlocked and then flash from China to global rom. This is take time. 1st can't add in count for this device. ![]() 2nd couldn't unlock. ![]() This post has been edited by Benefon: Jan 16 2018, 03:38 PM |

QUOTE(Benefon @ Jan 16 2018, 04:56 PM) Used to be 4100 mAh with RN4. To top it off, now the same SD625 need to drive more pixels on a bigger screen running on a slightly less juicy battery. My gut telling me that a bigger screen alone would consume more power even before taking the extra pixels into account. This post has been edited by JJKTP: Jan 16 2018, 05:11 PM |
