Normally for mpv, it's more stable with full loaded right? When travelling at Highway around 110kmph or higher?

I am OK with window size. Read previous comments, some said the tint is nt good.. Still can feel the heat, etc..

Could've gotten my car this week but the SA delayed in banking in my cheque, delayed in my loan application, delayed in submitting my order. Paid downpayment via cheque last Friday morning but until now, the money is still in my bank. That's 7 and a half days.

I guess have to wait next week.

Anyone here has successfully claimed the leaking rear absorber?

wanted to ask what is the slowest speed the auto cruise can set ?

sounds like this is common issue to serena ?
so are they change to another brand of absorber ?

Can share more info on this leaking?
Isit something like oil stain mark on the absorber?

Got my car over the weekend. These are some of the things I found:

- Apparently Tan Choong doesn't fill in the details in the manual book and service booklet any more. The only place where the car details are pasted (Typed) is in warranty booklet. I have no idea when my first service is because it's not stated in the service booklet. I guess I'll have to call the SA again. Didn't check with him when we collected the car.

- The small compartment under the aircond controls is quite distracting when lighted up. At night especially. Day time it's fine.

- The camera screen on the meter cluster is not practical. I would very much prefer it to be displayed on the head unit.

- It takes a little getting used to when driving because you see SO MANY THINGS. Especially with the huge side windows. I guess this is a plus point but it definitely needs a little getting used.

- It's a tad under powered. Then again, I drive a much higher powered sedan (2.8l engine) and my wife drove the T30 X-Trail (2.5) so it's not a fair comparison. I guess we'll have to get used to it.

- Android Auto works but I'm not too sure if it's my phone's problem or the V-Kool tint's problem. I can't seem to lock my location down on Waze. Couldn't check when it's not on Android Auto because I was driving.

My previous experience with V-Kool tint was that when my phone is in my car, it can barely get mobile signals. GPS signal is basically non-existent. I had to wind down my window so that I can get GPS signal.

This happened to my own car with all my phones over the years (I've been driving the same car for 9 years now) and all the GPS devices. Smart Tag can barely detect. It will first show "Tiada TAG" for 1 second, then only it detects.
The problem went away when I replaced my windscreen and didn't use V-Kool. So I'm not too sure if this is the same problem or not. Will have to find out more.

Other than this, I'm happy with the car.

Tried Android Auto again. It just doesn't lock my position on Waze. It locks for 1 minute then stopped working and will only give me an approximate location every 3 minutes or so.

Waze worked fine on my phone. Not sure what's happening.

It seems it's a common problem for Xiaomi/Mi phones, which is what I'm using. Found a solution here:

EDIT 2:

Yeah. It's the battery optimization feature. Setting to "No Restriction" seems to have solved it. Works perfect now. It may not be a MIUI issue. Most smartphones have some sort of battery optimization feature. Just have to turn it off for Android Auto and Waze.

Solution:
Go to Settings>Battery & Performance>Under Battery Saver, select Choose apps. Then navigate to Android Auto, select "No restrictions". Do the same for Waze as well and it should work.

Hi all, I am new here, just got my Serena s hybrid j impul yesterday, driven from penang to kl, the following I noted and some questions :

1. The smell from outside will come into the car even I close the outside air. Can this be fixed?

2. My fc is 10.5 km / liter, can't get what the manufacturer claimed 14.2km / liter.

3. Road and wind noise are quite loud. Possible to do further soundproofing?

4. No audio control in the steering, wonder if I can have it install anywhere without affecting warranty?

5. Can the foot sensing auto boot be installed without affecting warranty?

6. Possible to install curtains like estima?

Hi all C27 owners, I am actually looking for a 7 seater MPV, where budget around 140k, and only found that brand new Serena and recond Honda Odssey fits my bill, of cause, an old used Alphard or Estima fits the bill as well.

I have quite a bad experience with Nissan Almera, whereby certain parts are damage within short used time, for e.g. wheel bearing, air cond cooling coil, Front lower arm bush damage, etc....Therefore, just want to get some comments from you guys so far any problem/ issues facing with the car before I decided to go for another Nissan car.

Oh no... My aircon seem to hv problem this morning..
The air won't circulate inside the cabin. When press the circulate air inside the car button, it will auto off after few seconds.
On/off.. Same problems..
Anyone face same issue before?
