hahaha..i also try before, place the key inside compartment, keep kick not working. So i ask my SA, they say the system able to detect the radius (distance) of the key, key need to within certain radius only can work. Eg: too near like inside the car, too far from the car like 4-5 steps away, if fall into this 2 zones, the key wont trigger the auto sliding

about the around view monitor position, personally i agree the position is well placed. Japanese always take extra steps, thoughtful in their design. Placed at the meter there to let u focus at the front, everything at one glance. no need turn ur head here, turn left n right

well, it depends. do you like to mod your car? if yes, then premium spec might not suitable.

why? because u can upgrade ur rim to 16/17 at 3rd party, wrap the leather seat outside, roof monitor n room lamp bulb can buy from accessories shop

if u prefer stock car or maybe no time to mod/source accessories, then its worth to go for premium spec

why? because the spec is good enough for a family and these premium spec items are covered by warranty. Plus point is the 2-tone colour, wont look boring like other MPV

ya, free maintenance only during early launch last year. Anyway, friendly advise, get the 5yrs warranty instead 3yrs. The 2yrs i think the salesman already convert into your 10k discount. ask him reduce discount and revert back to ur 5yrs warranty. for peace of mind though both engine/gearbox might not spoil easily

Maybe x-trail owners just simply spread around so everyone will stop buying Nissan and tcm will consider to recall their cvt
