I think you need to ask Nissan workshop to install new firmware, I did it once

I was thinking about that too, but in the end just using the original. It's very easy to vacuum clean the original without removing.

For those using original, how often to remove and wash? Would dodomat be better?

Dear All, I am going to collect my new car - Serena C27 by this Saturday.

Is the basic version where I changed my rim from 15inch to 16inch.

I didn't take that package. Just 5Y warranty. The service is 10k intervals, I guess individual preference whether to buy upfront or not.

Finally received my car by end of April.

Will like to seek your input if there's any recommendation on what type of car mat to be purchased?

The current original car mat is not so effective in dirt preventing.

The original mat is very easy to vacuum. Have you tried it yet? Would suggest you try it out first, and if you want to get different mats, I guess it would be dodomat or trapo...

My thoughts is just use the original until time to change then only get the after market ones smile.gif

My suggestion for accessories would be:

1. Steering audio control button (if its not available)
https://bit.ly/3Pcmonu

2. Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)

3. DashCam (Front n rear)

4. Tray mat

Thanks for the feedback.

Already installed for front and rear dashcams and speed auto lock while rewiring the reverse camera from dashboard to clarion screen.

I have purchased the chrome door handle protector as well to prevent scratches

Visited the Trapo outlet in MV where now they are offering Classic @ RM629.91 and Hex @ RM809.91, feel like want to purchase. biggrin.gif

May i know which type of apps for miracast to download?

Question. As owners of a Serena, can we just drive into TCAT to lodge a complain with say the DVR or the Roof Monitor? Or do we have to go through the process of making an appointment at the service center and getting the service center to drive the Serena to TCAT?

I recently managed to get my TV monitor claimed and changed under warranty, but had to make an appointment via service center. Upon reaching service center, Customer Service advised next time just drive to TCAT myself.

I showed the Customer Service the whatsapp messages between myself and TCAT, where TCAT says customer cannot walk-in. Need to go through service center....

Any members here gone through this?

As per my understanding through my SA, as long as the accessories is installed by TCAT separately from original condition, then you can straight away contact them using the invoice info for the clarification, otherwise all need to go through the service centre for any lodgment of issues.

I read from FB C27 group, a lot of owner complaint about Aircond compressor, ABS and absorbers problems. Anyone here encountered the same problem ?

Got a shock when I got 380KM for a full tank of gas recently. Now driving the Serena (wife's car) work to "tune" the engine a bit. Have since driven 240KM and the trip meter says still can go 380KM.

I am wondering if I do this on regular basis F/C will improve or not.

This is a thirsty camel... I also get around 350 plus km on full tank 40 plus liters. It's around 8 km/l for urban driving.

However, if you go on highway it will easily get 13 km/l probably that's why it's called highway star. smile.gif

This car is 1.8 tons, that's a lot of metal to move so start stop traffic is gonna be bad for this....
