I'm still contemplating whether or not to take the additional RM2K discount or minus it off for the service package. But taking a closer look at the proposed service schedule, Brake Fluid change at 20K seems excessive.

My question is, if we don't perform the brake fluid change as recommended during the service interval...will the warranty be void?

I taking the J-Impul variant brows.gif

Now hit another hiccup. Went to make settlement for the car we want to trade-in yesterday. Today morning my bank called, said signature wrong rclxub.gif sweat.gif
The last time I wrote a cheque was 6 years ago....

So now have to wait for the bank which I make the settlement to make a reversal, this should happen by this afternoon according to the loan officer. Transfer a bulk of the loan sum amount over to the bank and go to the same bank to do an over the counter transaction to settle the loan.

will suggest take the service package and forego the 2k ..the 2k doesnt cost much in the loan repayment

anyway, service according to the mileage/date (whichever comes first) in the service book then ur safe
*
Decided to forego the 2K Discount and take the 3 year service package. Turns out the Serena comes with 3 year warranty standard. So hopefully no major issues on the 4th year tongue.gif

Anyway, @skyleng Has my SA contacted you yet? Price increase is looming, Honda has already announced. Let me know if you need any help with the SA flex.gif

No worries bro @skyleng

After persistently asking my SA for free stuff, he will give us a free full tank of petrol. Not sure if the door visor comes standard with high-spec, but my Serena will come with visors installed.

Has anybody here buy the harness to enable 360 view to be displayed on the head unit's screen?  Please share your experience if you did.  Where did you get the item and for how much?

I haven't got my Serena yet but I'm thinking this is the first thing I want to do because when I test drove the car and tried the all around view feature, the display on the info panel is too small for me to see clearly.

Opened up the bonnet this morning to locate the horn. Two questions smile.gif

1.) There is a piece of polystyrene wedged between the grille and the engine bar circled in orange in the attached picture. Should it be there?

2.) Will changing the horn void the warranty?

Need some help. I bought an aftermarket horn and the grill mesh online. I tried to DIY, but could not remove the grill.

Anyone knows off a car accessory shop where I can just pay for the workmanship to install? PJ area preferably.

I just did my 1K KM service for my Serena, registered Early March. I insisted to change the Engine Oil and the lady behind the counter said why don't you do the 5K KM service as well, as the duration for the 5K KM service was also up. I purchased the service package and there was no cost for this service.

My issue is, the next service is due in August or 6K KM whichever comes first. I doubt I can reach 6K KM by then and I feel it's an absolute waste to service the car before then.

Will my warranty be voided if I don't follow the service maintenance window stipulated by Tan Chong?

Just found out that my roof monitor doesn't sync with the head unit. TC Glenmarie asked us to go back next Monday to get it "synced"? I wonder if any other members faced this issue before.

Question. As owners of a Serena, can we just drive into TCAT to lodge a complain with say the DVR or the Roof Monitor? Or do we have to go through the process of making an appointment at the service center and getting the service center to drive the Serena to TCAT?

I recently managed to get my TV monitor claimed and changed under warranty, but had to make an appointment via service center. Upon reaching service center, Customer Service advised next time just drive to TCAT myself.

I showed the Customer Service the whatsapp messages between myself and TCAT, where TCAT says customer cannot walk-in. Need to go through service center....

Any members here gone through this?

Got a shock when I got 380KM for a full tank of gas recently. Now driving the Serena (wife's car) work to "tune" the engine a bit. Have since driven 240KM and the trip meter says still can go 380KM.

I am wondering if I do this on regular basis F/C will improve or not.

Hi, I am looking to purchase a cooling coil (front) for my 2020 Nissan Serena. Are there any authorized spare parts shops I can purchase it from?

Hi All.
Time for tyre change. Currently using Michelin Primacy 4 but the tyre only last me less than 2 years (~30k km).
Lookin at this, cost wise is on the high side.
Any good recommended silent and value tyre for 16"?
Thanks.

I was originally looking for Nexen to replace stock PS/4's, but my regular trye shop has now changed affiliation to Marshal Tyres.

I've got the J-Impul C27 with 18" rims. I swapped out all four tyres to MU12 from Marshal. So far no complaints. Handles well in both wet and dry, for braking you got to adjust yourself lar.

Can't argue with threadwear and value.

Car is wife's daily driver to fetch the kids around i.e. soccer mom, so safety is a priority for the precious cargo.

Just upgraded the problematic Head Unit to an Android Head Unit. Found a freelance installer via FB. These are the units he carries PM me if interested. I installed the 7862 variant. PM me if interested. Guy can come to your house to install.

TS10
4gb ram 32gb rom
4gb ram 64gb rom
8gb ram 128gb rom

Ts18

7862

4gb ram 64gb rom

Car audio is so much better with the Android DSP. Originally wanted to change the roof monitor, mana tahu it's the connection that it loose. Taking a road trip down south soon, should be really able to test the new head unit + ori roof monitor then.
