I am also having issue connecting my Android Auto smartphone (Huawei P9) to the C27 Clarion Head Unit (HU). According to the help screen in the Android Auto apps (installed using apk), need to turn on the Android Auto in the HU, but I can't find this setting in the car. So, when I connect my phone via original usb, there is no Android Auto in the HU (I already given all the necessary permission, notification, usb debug in my phone). What else is missing here? Thanks

Yes, I tried miracast and it work, but it is not the same as Android Auto as miracast is only on output only (screen), you can't have input like touches on the head unit e.g. when you are using Waze. Also, with miracast your phone has to be on all the time, if your phone screen off (screen save), the head unit will be off also. Android Auto has a better connection.

I think this is quite true, I experienced it myself, if you need the car by certain date or as per SA promised I think you can more or less expect delays and wort still they are not able to give you new expected date. So, if you don't have the urgency, then you will be happy patiently waiting for it.

Yes, but after a while the hu time will still out of syn, it runs faster

I agreed, the head unit don't connect well with Android phone, and the roof monitor is 10yrs outdated, still LCD (not LED) screen and can only play from thumbdrive or Aux

On the head unit, can I confirm with anyone here that there is no screen saving, at the minimum it will display big digital clock? I find this clock display is too bright at night (I have tried with all the display setting). Or is that problematic to you as well?

You may want to check a button on the bottom right side of the driver seat, there is a switch to turn it off

For the kick function, the key must be very near to the door, like in the pocket of the person who kicks it. And also, there is a way to kick it, not left right swipe

Anyone tried miracast on Waze? That day I tried for about 15min only, my phone (HuaWei P9) become so hot I worried it might explode, so I turn off. Do you have this issue?

Only Waze and miracast (Bluetooth off)

I agreed, many years outdated. If you have the roof monitor, even worst, you can only play small mp4 movies

I think this is a normal LED light effect, my house LED is just like that, after you switch it off at night you can still see the light dimming slowly goes off
