Hello Guys..this is my 1st time considering to buy a Merc..Was eyeing at a C-class, specifically c200. I know that the new model (W205) will come onboard pretty soon. However, I'm considering to get a 2nd/used one and was thinking a W204 model. I got to know that w204 come with the facelifted and refreshed drivetrain on year 2011 (7speed gearbox). With the budget on hand, might be getting that variant. My question is surrounding to get the used/recond car. What do guys suggest? I heard that for recond car, most of the seller has tampered the odo so the mileage looks small. is it true? Plus MBM will not entertain warranty for recond car even it is still iunder warranty from the home country.
Also to those c200 owners, how is the maintenance like? The cost? Any maintenance schedule+cost that I can refer to?
Shed me some light pls. Tq

abt the warranty, you can easily find 3rd-party mechanics. No problem. Charges also reasonable.
If there is no 'big' parts to change, the costs like disc brake replacements are just slightly higher than your H/T brands.

does anyone know when this will be released (c class 2015) in MY as paultan already has some spy shots on the trailer.

Previously was eying the CLA but just could not bite the bullet as leg room was crampy and the suspension was crappy.

Well, I've asked the SA and he said the new w205 will come around next week or early September, and he has no idea how much would the car cost. Right now, they are trying to clear all the w204 away before the new model coming in.

thanks man, hopefully the AMG line would not be above RM260K and colors for exteriors are ample.

Engine choice looking at on line reviews, most are saying the best is C300.

Initially was hoping to get the CLA but the turn off was the rear passenger room.

Now looking more optimistic furthermore with the MB financing plan and RV assurance

I am not refering to the C63 AMG , more towards just the AMG line for the normal C class. Hmmm if its at 300K, that is pretty steep.
