you should update this to 24/11/2017 as apple already officially announced it

i know right? just think of it as at least we don't have to queue & we can show off for another 2 weeks

i have a question, during ipx launch day in malaysia can i just walk in to lets say machines store around 10am when they open to buy the ipx case only? will they let me enter to buy the case only since there will be a lot of people queuing for the iphone x itself?

can we use the samsung note 8 wireless charger for iphone x too?
because i have both note 8 & ipx (not yet arrived) so i'm thinking to buy 1 wireless charger that i can use for both phone.
note 8 wireless charger has fast charging feature so is it ok to use with ipx which doesn't support fast wireless charging yet?

Finally got 2 unit iphone x 256gb yesterday. silver for me & space grey for my gf

my 1st impression, the screen is gorgeous but the phone itself feels small coming from iphone 7 plus
actually you still can swipe up to remove running apps. just that you need to hold until there's an X button at top like you said first, and then you can swipe up to close background apps. but yeah 1 extra step for that though

after 1 day of usage, i have to say the battery life is surprisingly good.
unplugged at 8am, now at 8.27pm my iphone x battery is still 51%.
better than my previous phone, iphone 7 plus. usually on 7 plus at this time my battery would be around 20%.
but then again, this is only the 1st day of using the new iphone x, comparing to my 1 year old iphone 7 plus

maybe that's caused by apps updating in the background & all that?
I finished backup, restore & update everything last night before i went to bed & charge my phone to full

wow this time machine has midnight collection? pity those guys who will be queuing they can only see you collect the preordered iphone but they have 10 more hours to go until machine open & they can buy tomorrow morning

your iphone x still have the green line problem? have you tried to claim warranty for replacement yet?

after owning the best of worlds, this is my personal comparison between iPhone X & note 8

- for normal day to day use, iphone x ios is definitely smoother than note 8, especially when scrolling in instagram, fb, web browsing, etc.
- iphone x face id is much better than note 8 face recognition.
- note 8 has fingerprint & iris scanner is a plus point.
- iphone x speaker is much better & louder than note 8.
- note 8 screen is more beautiful & better than iphone x.
- iphone x feels small (coming from iphone 7 plus). if there is iphone x plus option it would be much better.
- battery life, note 8 wins hands down. but iphone x battery is not bad too.
- note 8 camera is better for bright color photos, but iphone x camera looks more natural.
- love the raise/tap to wake screen on iphone x, too bad this feature is not available on note 8.
- a lot of apps are not optimised for iphone x yet.
- bought note 8 at rm3150 (Qoo10) & iphone X at RM6300 (SG set). that's double the price
- i get more peoples attention when they see me using the iphone x. its really good for chick magnet & to make people jealous my friends weren't impressed when they saw my note 8, but when they see me using iphone x most of them would ask to see, hold & take pictures of the iphone x.

but in the end, both phones are nice. both have their own pros & cons.
i love & am using both of them together since i have 2 numbers.

p/s: once again, this is just my personal opinion. other people might have different opinion.

i would say, my preference would be:
iphone x - 9/10
note 8 - 8/10
because i'm more used to using iphone, note 8 is my 1st android phone that i was attracted to give a try.
the only downside of iphone x is the size feels small & maybe the price is too high.

yeah i think apple purposely didn't release the x & x plus together this year because they want everyone to buy the x first, then next year change again to x plus. looking at the current price, next year the x plus should be around 6k-7k

too high bro. even brand new iphone 7 plus is selling at rm3849 by apple. usually i see people selling their 2nd hand around 3000-3100

i used to wrap my iphone 7plus at mobile outfitter. if you want to use your phone naked, better wrap it. but the downside is you can't use it with case. the wrap is not case friendly. so you need to choose whether you want to use your phone with wrap or case

i'm currently using this tempered glass on my iphone x. recommend you to get one. the quality is really good, touch feels smooth, easy to wipe fingerprint & case friendly. the black border at the top doesn't affect face id/camera at all

They have case compatible wrap too which wraps the front & back only. That one can use with case. But be warned if you wrap the back of your iphone you can't use clear case because it will stick to the csse & cause rainbow which will look really ugly

Yes the full wrap is not case friendly. I've tried with a lot of cases, only those loose case can fit, cases that are exact fit for your iphone will not be compatible. But even fot the loose cases they will push the skin when you put on & take off the csse

In my experience, you can't even use the wrap with bumper. I ordered rhinoshoeld bumper for my iphone 7 plus, but until now never used it because i wrap my phone at mobile outfitter & the bumper is not compatible. I tried both full & back only wrap are not compatible with my bumper

Yes you can but i think you need to pay extra a bit because matte skin is more expensive than clear one. Oh ya since you mentioned matte i just remember, my friend used matte skin & has less problem with cases compared to mine which was clear skin. But for my iphone x for now i decided not to go with skins anymore, just using with case & tempered glass
