may i ask, N8 standard warranty from Samsung Malaysia is 1 or 2 yrs?

I'm jumping ship from Apple to Android now. Been using Apple for the past 7 yrs. This year enough is enough. Overpriced and same old design. Boring.

I have a question, Samsung is known for bloatwares in their OS. Is it still the same for Note 8? I hope it won't get any slower as i use it. Currently considering Note 8 or Mate 10 Pro.

on disabling apps, is there a way to disable/freeze a non-system app without root?

i'm using this lunar calendar app, i have turned off the notification, but sometimes still receiving notifications so it's still running in background

last time when using a root-ed phone can freeze it in titanium backup and unfreeze when wanna use it

would be useful if can disable/freeze apps that will only use once a while

Just note that it isn't really uninstalling, just disabling stuff that you can't. I actually wanna disable bixby as well but it might turn out bad lol.

Hard cases are not recommended. It may scratch your phone when putting on or removing it.

the free clear casing from samsung is no good.
my cousin used that case when he got his note 8, after 2 weeks there are 2 paint chips on the side (between bixby & volume button) & bottom (beside s-pen) of his note 8 even though he never dropped the phone or anything. if your note 8 is black color, all the more reason to find case with good protection because most cases reported having peeling paint on their note 8 happened on black color one.

I haven't apply, but considering, i can say u will just feel the original screen, the coating is very thin, can't see at all with bare eyes, but definitely the protection is there, the promoter applied it on his own phone and let me try scratch with car key, really "wow"! not a single scratch can be found, very less review online since is new product, i think just release recently.

Just got myself HAO 5D. Looks really good man. Noticed there is a color difference compared to the x-one sp I use as well. Kinda similar to when i first looked at it when just bought without any protection. Got the case friendly one, will buy Alcantara tomorrow or so

Anyone really use these Bixby in the real life? It looks convenience but sometime Bixby don't understand pour command and this is my frustration. Haha

Funny that today I was not allowed to use pay wave and/or Samsung Pay at 99 speed mart. Few weeks ago I didn't have this problem.

The cashier pusing so many stories that the pay wave is not functional. When I saw the machine asking for the payment card "please swipe / tap", I queried him. Then came another cock story he will kena warning letter if I used pay wave or my phone to pay.

Will merchant rugi a lot if we do contactless transactions?
