What u like about the note 8? What u looking for on your new phone? What's your priority?

I think the drop from head high can protect the phone screen from scratch and crack but definetely not the TG.

About the spen usage, I did use it before and after apply and I can tell the smoothness is about the same. Can't really tell the difference.

I did put mate 10 into my consideration last time. The price to spec ratio is good. Once I hold the phone it just didn't impress me, on paper it says glass and aluminium body but in hand it feels plastic. Another is the ui, it feels old fashion to me, dunno how to explain. One more thing is the screen. Maybe I used to the brilliant and beautiful Amoled, lcd just so so. All above are my personal opinion. No right or wrong. U buy what makes u happy and that's it.

Thank you. I used the same TG on my s8+ before so I'm confident with it. Damn last time I bought TG and case, no free skin, no package but I was given 20% due to recommended by lowyat forum plus birthday month. Now they don't give any discount anymore except for taking package or buy with vip card.

Yeah the case is not as fancy as other major brands but since it's free, I just use it. Sometime I use the phone naked too. Lol.

As many have said, battery life is not as good as s8+ but it can last me till I reached home.

edge screen is already in the market since s6 edge time, then s7 edge, and now s8 and note 8, few years past, if there is one good and cheap TG under rm100, i'm sure we have already known that long before, especially those gadget freaks who change phones often when new models released, i can say that if u want TG u go for the best, whitestone or hao, if u want cheap, u might as well save the money than wasting on a cheap TG where u will compromise your user experience, regret, and remove in the future.

I used to use MBB on my s8+, then on note 8 I can't register, called bank they say it's activated, few attempts and still failed. Now I'm using HLB on my note 8 without any issue.

I use spay and my nfc is always off. You do not have to on and off nfc manually. When u launch spay and swipe up your card getting ready to tap and pay, nfc will turn on and off automatically after u completed the payments.

Bcos ip68 they rated is mean it can dive in fresh water for up to 30 minutes and 1.5m. They can't tell if water damaged is caused by salt water or u dive more than 30 minutes or u dive deeper than 1.5m

It should be blank black if u pick none in background. Try update your aod app to the latest if u haven't done so.

I can get 17 hours usage with 6 hours sot

Dual sim, WiFi + mobile data, location with high accuracy, sync on, brightness set to around 30%, sound and vibration on, edge lightning on, aod off, nfc off, power saving mode off, nearby device scanning off. Using wqhd+ resolution with basic color mode. All advance feature off except for smart mute. All spen features remain on. Bixby enabled, using it daily. For security I use pattern, iris, and finger print.

Beside, I also use bk disabler paid app to disable some unused apps and services, greenify paid, pure black theme.

No root needed, no adb needed to, pretty straight forward app, install, choose app, disable, done. Knox not being triggered.

Yes, I used to use similar app on s7 edge and s8+ too. My best record in s8+ was 25 hours usage with 10 hours sot with similar settings. For the similar settings on note 8 I get much lesser maybe due to the spen features and sensors. It really helps to give more battery juice. U can check my previous post, I posted screenshot about the battery performance.

I play mobile legend too. I remember last night I started to play when battery was around 50 to 53% battery, played for one hour, around 4 matches battery left 25%.
