By the way, how do you watch youtube fullscreen in note 8? I read around there should be a button to maximise the screen, however i dont see it in my screen though. Software is up to date as well.

go to setting, search for navigation bar, there is a wat auto hide button thingy.

This means that Samsung knows that the curved screen sux ass. The only reason they did it is because they can, and they are milking it for the aesthetics.

Yes, totally agree in regards with the curved screens in terms of useability but I guess they needed to come up with something new, revolutionary and a trend setter. Next will be the foldable phone or flexible display. Let's wait and see.

Which disabler app u guys use for note 8?

Bro, I didn't read through all the posts, but if I am not wrong, the initial hype maybe created by Doughnut. The recent 1111 event, Premium gadget and iGadget created the hype. When I purchased (yes, I finally joined the dark force, short review below), iGadget was 10 ringgit cheaper but does not have midnight black. I purchased from Premium gadget maybe the last few pieces which soon midnight black was sold out. Purchased on 11 around noon, received on 13 around noon. Very fast service. Imagine 11th was Saturday and 13th Monday.

My initial impression about Note 8: It is more beautiful, refined, sleek. Dislike the curved screen, which I think is redundant. Created so much headache for me searching for workable tempered glass, current the best and cheaper I can get is WhiteStone Dome @ around RM150 (after conversion). Case going for Ringke Hybrid as has good experience with this case in Note 4 which is currently using.

Whenever I purchased a new phone, if possible, would like to familiarize with the funtions prior to throw into daily field usage. Quite a number of changes throughout the years. I am an user more on the basic function of a phone rather than other gimmicks.

Too bad I am choosing a trendy phone to make it last longer in term of usability. Not yet explore other function yet.

I don't mind the curve screen existing at least. It looks nice and that's what matters in terms of design at least. But yeah functionality not so much. Better looking than most phone out there tho, looks dated and new. Unlike... phones with a lot of bezels.

Very valuable information. I thought I have to register the warranty elswewhere. Who knows when I received my phone, immediately I received a sms from registered handphone that my newly purchased phone already registered for warranty. I will try to check Samsung website for verification.
